  • Hi,

I was just wondering whether paypal accept the couriers mentioned in this thread during a claim? I am about to send a few items to the USA using DHL but have no idea if paypal would accept them.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
Has anyone used Pharos PARCEL for European deliveries and not experienced a problem with collection address information being automatically transferred to UPS? I had a hitch on my last two collections with them and would like to know if its working properly before i book another.
  • Is [FONT=&quot]ppwexpress still £6.95? I have something small that weighs 2.4kg. Post office quoted me £6.85 for standard parcels (3 days?) but if ppwexpress is only 10p cheaper and quicker, I'll book them. I can't seem to find prices on their web site

I have a question about DHL delivery 24 hrs and 48 hrs. at first, I can not see any difference between them on the collection notes. 24 hours delivery is not guaranteed as well. it is delayed very often. But all agents chage extra for 24 hours delivery. So it that really different between them? Or this is a just tricky way for agents to make a extra profit?

I just hit a snag with couriers for an overseas parcel. I have been staying with friends in Spain and they use a mail box system and I was planning to send some goodies out to them, however the local Mail drop people will not take anything that comes via courier and there is no way round this at all. Parcels that arrive using anything other than RM and the spanish post are refused and as my friends live miles from civilisation there is no way I can afford to send them the box of goodies I was planning.

The reason I am adding this to this thread is because my friends can't be unique in this and it might always be worth checking with overseas buyers whether they have any similar restrictions with couriers.

Speed around 5 days. Normal gets to the states within 48 hours, but then hits customs.

Paypal? Why is everyone got such an issue with using paypal? Are people expecting to claim if their parcel isn't delivered with in 7 days?? Ridiculous notion. If there is a problem say it gets lost you should go through the standard procedure of making a claim via the agent who then pass it on to the courier. The only time I've had to make a paypal claim was went paperdrop went bust.#

Edit: do you mean accepting them as tracking links. If so yes they do.

Express Packages Deliveries. Cheaper, better service. Parcelforce.

Yes. All change next month though, for all DHL re-sellers.

The only difference it makes is if the driver has a lot on and he is not going to get all his drops done, he'll do the 24hr ones and leave the 48hr ones for the following day. On the manifest it will say either HECO (48hr) or HDN (24hr).

Haven't come across this before. Do they not have a business address or address of a friend which it could be sent to? Or you could arrange it so it is left at their local depot for them to collect. What about using parcelforce, close ties with RM?
