I used http://www.pharosparcel.com/ the other day to send a Wii on ebay. Couldnt find a cheaper courier that covered the insurance I needed which was £300. Total cost for postage was £14 and was delivered next day.

someone will be along in a bit to tell me I paid too much :)

yes that was too much, but if you are happy thats all that matters..
• just trying to book collections for today, but site redirects to nonsense page after logging in and filling in all details each time.
This happened last weekend too - trying on 2 different computers, and 3 different browsers.
Let down again by them I am afraid.
Also 1 failed collection by them this week.

Now looking for the best priced RELIABLE courier.....

Hi, I would appreciate a bit of help on this.

I have around 30 parcels to send (all identical) weighing 2.5kg each. The main destination is the USA and with Royal Mail it'd cost a whopping £30+

I only need minimal insurance (under £35) but want a reliable service with tracking provided in case of a paypal claim. The box they will be sent in is quite small: 50cm x 35cm x 20cm.

Any suggestions...really need some help!?!? Many Thanks!

NTERNATIONAL AGENTS (Worldwide)

Trans Global Express

Worldwide Parcel Services

Both offer very good rates to Australia, New Zealand, United States, Canada and to other worldwide destination

These will almost certainly be the cheapest. Try in interparcel as well.

The discount code for WPS is/was ebay10pc

have found a website called ukbackloads.com were I can arrange to get it collected and delivered nationwide very cheaply. I cannot find any reference to this site anywhere in these forums, anyone know if it is any good?

Well, with ukbackloads you decide how much you are going to pay. It isn't like shiply where couriers bid. You tell them what you are willing to pay. I am sure couriers will try to negotiate but thats half the fun I reckon. Plus then my sale is open to a national market instead of just local bidders.

Lol ok, you don't happen to own the website do you?:rotfl:

https://www.freightsearch.com and https://www.ppwexpress.com all offer pallet services.

Worth looking on ebay as well. palletways?
• Does anyone know how accurate you have to be with weights/sizes when booking a collection?

I want to purchase something from ebay but the seller doesn't offer postage, they've agreed to a courier picking the item up but I don't know how big the box will be or the exact weight. It will be well under the 30kg limits that most companies seem to have and will not be over the size limits either.

Haven't bid on this yet and don't want to pester the seller asking for weights and measurements of a box they haven't even got yet (as they are offering collection only ie not boxed) as they will probably block me as the buyer from hell!

Any ideas?
