The item is an ebay item worth only £28.
I know that apart from the "normal" couriers there are also other smaller couriers that operate in between UK and other European countries, i.e. couriers that would only go to Romania charge £1.50/kg of weight. They go on the road, so surface mail. Size does not come into account. It's just the actual weight. I am aware that Israel is further, but I assume that there would be such services offered for the Jewish community from the UK who want to send things, luggage, etc to their extended families in Israel and viceversa.
Anybody knows of such couriers?
Many thanks in advance
Try Trans Global Express, Worldwide Parcel Services and interparcel; apart from them I don't really know.0 -
ok:-
who the fake
my details for ppw express:-Consignment Number:
30323DHL Reference Number:
600525.1
Yet again we have another company trying it on.claire wrote:i think i am going to try another courier, and will ask for a refund from them as a collection tomorrow is no good when i needed it today, they is a reason why i pay for a 24hr service.
So you obviously made the booking this week right?
No you didn't because consignment number 30323 was booked on 8th of August!!
Your business obviously needs some extra customers, but with laughably poor attempts like this I am not surprised. All the best.0 -
Still making fool of yourself I'm afraid. That's a print screen from our 'my PPP'. Something that all ppw customers have.0

Which leads to my next question....
Using the MSE mantra that there's no such thing as a stupid question...:o
how do I attach the parcelforce invoice to the package? Do I put in in an envelope? Or do I sellotape the A4 piece of paper down?
As for the label you can put it in document wallet, but we just sellotape them down which makes it easier to scan. Just make sure you cover the whole label so if it gets wet it doesn't disintegrate.0 -

ArmitageShanks,
I don't know if claire12 advertises her business but honestly I also think that you have something to do with PPW.
I watch this thread very carefully as I run online business myself so forced to use online couriers inc. PPW for smaller and Interparcel bigger parcels but your way of promoting PPW looks far beyond average.
Please explain0 -

I'm sending many parcels with them but didn't know about it.0 -
Of course you have it. Each consignment corresponds to a booking but obviously I've cropped that out as has names etc and also a link to the tracking. I'm surprised your not more concerned with the fact I've spotted another person telling tall tails on this thread, or perhaps that doesn't bother you??
I work tirelessly to prevent this thread descending in to chaos. Without this you wouldn't know what to believe and it would just be full of either companies promoting them selves or telling false stories to the detriment of other companies. Basically they would have free reign to write what they like.
I am probably the scourge of some companies, but that's good because this is for consumers not retailers. Carry treating this thread with contempt and I will keep pulling you up.0 -
Hi all, I am trying to arrange a rug collection from ebay but the seller can only say they will be in until 2pm any day, there is no other address for them to leave it at etc.
I know no couriers will let you specify a time, but do any let you say please collect any time APART from say between 2 and 5pm, without charging you for a missed collection?
The rug was only £10.49, at this rate I will give up and ask them to sell to next bidder!!
Have tried asking on the phone, as I know that sometimes you can get a bit more leeway but no luck so far!
Thanks in advance for any help.0 -
Not really. But, is there a place which it could be left eg. porch, neighbour, shed etc.? Then when they go out just leave a note on their door saying where it is.0
-
I will ask them, thanks. I also often buy things from ebay where it says collection only, then pay for a courier to collect, and don't often have a problem - just occasionally, like this one0
