  • Just spoke to Manuj in India (he rang me!) - he's just told me that about 1000 (yes one thousand) orders got a CD instead of their order.

    He then gave me the script about replacement in 3 to 5 days - but when I pointed out that the estimate on Dell's site is 3 weeks plus, he backed down.
    I also queried why I was going to the back of the queue with a new order when there could be a load of monitors sat in the warehouse but not showing on the stock system.
    I then had to point out that I seemed to know more about the stock situation at Dell then he did. He's now going to investigate and get back to me by 4:00pm. (right yeah)

    Anyone heard of a container ship going down at sea. Can we look forward to tales of a remote island awash with 19" monitors - "Monitors Galore"
    All the World is a Stage; and I'm going through a difficult one at the moment!

    I have just received my order and it is a CD and a power lead, I am so p***** off! :(

    Going to ring them now, see what they say.

    Don't ring them they don't understand the nature of the true original order they will just transfer you to another person in a rotate routine. Be better off email them then least you get a true answer while they have time to think about the answer to your question!.

    I have success from the email part even though I cancel my original order they have now open me a new window. Just waiting now for a new email from thire concerned department with hope!.

    Your right mate, I tried on the telephone and got cut off twice before I even got through to anyone.

    So I have just emailed them telling them that this problem has been dragging on since my original order was put through on the 11/11/05.

    I emailed them on this email address, is this the correct one?

  • Just got of the phone from them (i rang them) and she told me that mr ghupta ! had reordered the monitor on the 12th for me and i should expect delivery in 5-7 days,i told her that was news to me and quoted the 3 weeks+ on the site, she gave me the new order number and said i would not receive a new pdf but mr ghupta would ring me and keep me informed (lmfao).
    Checked the site with new order number and expected delivery date 16/1/06.
    What a farce, if it hadnt been the wrong price i would have been onto watchdog by now.

    Don't use that email address you won't again get through you need to speek to a direct person try Anuradha_Gudimella@Dell.com she then put you through to the concerned department don't for get to enclosed the order to her.

    Let you know what happen when concerned department..........

    I have just sent another email through their online email system so I get a case number aswell.
