Got mine this evening, haven't taken it out the box but its definately a 19" TFT.

I got mine today, evening delivery and left at neighbours at about lunch time. My 6 year old daughter wants me to keep the CD.

I don't think so.

What amazes me is that the outcome of any contact with Dell seems to depend upon who picks up your query - I've had all extremes, from failing to elicit any response, unhelpful stock replies, and the helpful person who rang me back twice yesterday to let me know what was happening - well, to the best of their ability, anyway.

I do seem to have more joy emailing than telephoning, so all I can suggest is keep trying...

After being on the phone for 20mins, i spoke to 'Mary' and she said i will get it within 2-3 days (yeah right). They order their TFT's from another supplier and these messed up, they know about the issue and resending everyone's back out.

I also emailed them. I hate speaking to the Indian call centre.

Just had a call back from CS (India) and was told that they've redone the order. Checked the order status page which tells me its currently in production with an estimated delivery date of 17/01/06.

I asked about returning the CD & Kettle lead and was told I could keep them. I think I'll keep em safe until I actually get the monitor, you never know
