    I've had no problems using the uki_customer_care@dell.com email address, but I suppose you could keep emailing the same Dell representative if you find them helpful. If everyone emails the same Dell CS representative as suggested above, I think you may end up in a big backlog of emails... ;)

    I find that using the website "contact us" gives the quickest response, as I assume because the query is directed to the correct department.

    Emailing them rather than telephoning gives you the opportunity to include all the relevant information, which they then have in front of them at the other end.

    Just received this reply from Dell.

    "Dear Customer,

    Thank you for contacting Dell Online Customer Care.

    Please accept my apologies for the difficulties encountered when attempting to resolve your issue. I assure you that your situation is not indicative of the quality service Dell is capable of providing. I am truly sorry that we were not able to provide an experience that was completely satisfactory to you.

    There is an ongoing issue and the monitors are getting shipped.

    Could you please wait for some more time because the monitors just getiing shipped out.

    Just had yet another call from Dell, to confirm that the cd and kettle lead delivered yesterday will be collected by the courier on Friday.

    Am I the only one who is having to return these valuable items? :snow_laug

    is it at all possible to completely cancel this order? how would i go about it?

    edit: now cancelled, worst experience ever trying to deal with this. wont be ordering from dell again and tbqh i will be glad if dell can even cancel this order correctly.

    I've called them 4 times and been cut off 4 times. I've emailed them so am waiting to hear back from them now.
    Bit annoying seeing as I've been advertising my current monitor online and had some really good offers almost covering the cost of this one.

    well, you guessed it, box number 3 was a Robot CD !

    sent a 'very nice' email to Dell and got a reply within 24 hours apologising for the issue and advising me that my monitors had been placed on despatch for 14th December and that I would be contacted to arrange delivery thereafter.

    So, I live in hope that I see them this side of Christmas.

    Given the dates everyone else is getting (including the one offered to me) I'd double check that they mean December and not January.

    Just received email from Dell stating that my monitor which was supposed to be delivered tomorrow is now 17 January 2006

    "We’re sorry about this delay – but hope you understand we’re trying our best to deliver your order as soon as possible."

    Yes Dell you are very trying!!!!!!
    Just need to sit tight and await another fiasco unfolding, January is a long time and many Dell excuses away.

  • Dell called me to see if I was happy with the support I received yesterday !
    The lady told me that 600 people had been sent the CD instead of the monitor !
    Wonder when this will hit the press!!!

    Just got this email:

    Dear Customer,



    Due to and an error in our Manufacturing Plant, it has been acknowledged you have not received the Monitor/monitors you ordered along with your order ********** (opps)



    Corrective action has now been taken to rectify this issue. The monitor /monitors you ordered will be shipped and delivered to you within the next 3 working days.



    We sincerely regret this error and apologize to you for any inconvenience caused.
