My monitor has just turned up out of the blue, I had the power cable and cd the other day.
I never had a new PDF and the order number on the box is different than that of the cable and cd.

Just had another call from Dell, enquiring if they two boxes had been collected.

Me : "No, they're coming for them tomorrow...". :rolleyes:

Dell : "Oh yes..."

They then went on to explain that they had bad news and that there was a shortage of the parts to make up the order, would I be prepared to wait?

Me : "Err... yes."

They are going to ring me again on Monday with an update. :rolleyes:

Going on this, absolutely anything is possible... :rolleyes:

I've just had another call from Dell, my monitor will be shipped tomorrow and I should receive it Monday or Tuesday.

My head hurts!

its just as big a headache trying to cancel my order...ordered a new monitor with scan.co.uk yestrday and it will be shipepd today, what a ncie change from dell.

for those of you with estimated delovery dates of december, dont trust the website. when i rang my order was ETC for january, even though website said december.

I also got the 2 small boxes on Monday. Got e-mail yesterday saying that I would receive delivery of the monitor in the next 3 working days. This morning got phone call from Dell asking if the delivery company had been in touch yet as they have got the monitor. I said no not yet and at that moment the door bell went. Delivery chap stood there with my monitor whilst I am talking to the woman at Dell. Strange thing was I had received no updated pdf so I could track the item and it had arrived out of the blue.

I also got my 19" today FEDEX delivered it, just out of the blue.

Happy here before Christmas.

Had 2 CDs and 2 mains leads delivered Tuesday.

Had an email yesterday (Wednesday) as per others

"Due to and an error in our Manufacturing Plant, it has been acknowledged you have not received the Monitor/monitors you ordered along with your order nnnnn

Corrective action has now been taken to rectify this issue. The monitor /monitors you ordered will be shipped and delivered to you within the next 3 working days."
etc....

TWO 19" Super Doopers delivered this morning (Thursday) at 8:30am


I never emailed, telephoned or contacted DELL once since the day I ordered these, just sat back and waited.

They've rung again...

Call number three from Dell today, confirming again the collection booked for tomorrow, they are now only expecting one box back (the CD), so I get to keep my kettle lead.
