Are people not getting any warning about the REAL tft's arriving? I could really do with mine turning up as I have 5 people waiting to buy my current monitor on hold.

Yep... mine came totally out of the blue - Dell told me this morning on the telephone that my replacement monitor will be shipped out tomorrow, and will be with me Monday or Tuesday. I'm using it now...

Mine just arrived at 10.00pm tonight - poor delivery guy had been working since 7.00am. Monitor is great! :rudolf:

Not sure if this is worth it. I got a super sharp 21" Sony CRT (few years oldl) that no TFT could beat. Still I guess this one just looks prettier cosmetically but thats about as far as it goes. Anyway, I guess it's time for a downgrade!

You're likely to get as much, if not more, actual viewing area on a 19" TFT as on a 21" CRT tube. I have a fantastic 21" Iiyama montior I bought in a liquidation sale for £30, but it's about to make way for my new 196FP, today hopefully.

Had the pdf saying delivery estimated for thursday but got an email on wednesday saying order delayed till late january now. Phoned them and they said out of stock so will get the monitors on 9th January now.

Weird cos, my brother also ordered a monitor 10 mins after and he stays in same house and his arrived yesterday.
