They're going rebook the order for the E196FP again -:
Are they re-booking the delivery or the order?
If they re-book the order you might end up at the back of the queue again!
My dad is not due to get his until 13th of Jan and he ordered within 30 minutes of me.
Looks like we might get them for New Year - Chinese New Year that is!All the World is a Stage; and I'm going through a difficult one at the moment!0 -
Can i ask why the people who received 2 small parcels (power lead and cd) signed for the goods when it would be quite obvious that there wasnt a 19" tft in a small parcel ?!
Im expecting a 19" Tft from dell soon, is there any reason to accept the wrong goods ?
thanks0 -

Imo, it's better to hang on to goods yourself rather than reject them and explain the courier has got them (which may get lost etc). Would rejecting them also legally act as cancelling the order ?

wozwebs wrote:Sorry to say but my 19" TFT turned up fine yesterday, rigged it all up last night and it looks fantastic. Had to change the resolution to 1280x1084. I have a 128mb graphics card (PCI) using a Dell Dimension 3300 PC (2.4ghz) and I think I need to change some settings as HD content is very jerky and grainy. I have an ATI Radeon GC. Any ideas?
If your downloading the very hi-def(720p/1080p) trailers from apple, your system is probably under specced to play them back.
Apple Quicktime Hi-Def System Recommendations
Your gfx card (as someone else pointed out) is also a bottleneck(especially if you expand the video to full screen 1280x1024). As for the grainy picture, are you running windows with 32bit colours ?

Does anybody know the email address for dell after sales? As the internal email system keeps getting bounced back saying Delivery Status Notification (Failure) .
And they keep diverting me when i phone them.
Cheers!about:blank0 -
Well it looks like I'm not going to be getting a Dell TFT monitor. Just spoken to customer care again and was told.... 'you have already been told the order has been canceled'.0
