lol, man I'm gonna have to write to them about this too, I guess I'll latch it on to my extensive email regarding the LCD TV farce0 -
Horlock wrote:Two questions:
1. So if I order a robots print cd from dell for a tenner - do you think that I may actually get my long awaited for 19' tft?
2. Is there anything (apart from consciences) stopping the people who received 19' tft claiming to have received a robots cd?
Sadly, neither really helps for me. I just sit and wait hoping that one day before my retirement my 19' tft will arrive.
Thought About that but is it really worth all the trouble to go through CS and say you got a Disney DVD? mhmmmm unless people start getting 26 " tft T'V's then maybe ehhehehe
NAh Im happy with my 19Inch my eyes are loving it!0 -
I got a kettle plug and the CD too!!!
What a complete joke.. Dell really should have just cancelled them, they are obviously too incompetant to complete a simple order.0 -
Guess what I got today....
Two CD's and two power cables... not quite as good as the 5 19" TFT's I got last week :beer:EGG are a bunch of complete bankers!0 -
So 2weeks ago I was told my 10 were ready for dispatch by an Irish bloke.
1 week ago.. I was told that my card failed.. even tho it wouldnt have.
And yesterday I was emailed the PDF for the 10 19" TFT's.
Interesting.
And at the same time, the other order for 1 went through fine.. until the CD turned upBe nice0 -

Despite further e-mails I heard nothing & assumed I wouldn't be receiving my order. Then a few days ago when I received an e-mail from someone introducing themselves as my account manager & suddenly this morning then received a PDF for a E196FP monitor & its due to be delivered next week.
Success at last & if it arrives on Tuesday it will be a nice Birthday present to myself!
cheers
More e-mails & phone calls required I guessClive0 -
Received my Kettle Plug and Robots Print Studio CD last night too
. Phoned CS today (got passed through to India - grrrrr). I'm getting a phone call back tonight between 5:00 and 5:30 apparently.

* I'd still count mysef lucky if this comes through. 19" tft for £131.60 is worth a bit of hassle imo.0 -

That's what they said to me yesterday - rang CS at 5:45 to ask were my call was and was told the guy handling my case would ring me back in a few minutes - no he didn't - rang again at 6:00 and CS was closed.
And the way things are going you'll be able to get a 19" for this price in the January sales before these arrive from Dell, it's currently saying 3 weeks + for delivery on the website (for new orders).
You can get a 12ms response 19" for under £160 + P&P as it is.All the World is a Stage; and I'm going through a difficult one at the moment!0
