Packing slip may say 8kg but the box says 6kg. I ordered two and the dispatch note said 15kg. Confused? you will be....

everyone has had this today, people at rpoints and hotukdeals are in the same boat. apparently it was a technical error and they haven't actually shipped any monitors at all.

I find that hard to believe because I've got two sitting next to me in boxes and some people on Ebay appear to have got about 10 or more each.
I think they must have shipped a first lot, then sent out a whole batch of Disney DVDs.
Still at least they've got your money, so you can at least be happy that Dell wil have some profits this year.

Two questions:

1. So if I order a robots print cd from dell for a tenner - do you think that I may actually get my long awaited for 19' tft?

2. Is there anything (apart from consciences) stopping the people who received 19' tft claiming to have received a robots cd?

Sadly, neither really helps for me. I just sit and wait hoping that one day before my retirement my 19' tft will arrive.

On 10th November I ordered a Monitor. After much messing about from your end I eventually received it today having tracked it with great interest using your order tracking system. I have to say that I was rather amazed that not only did your people in Ireland and the various shipping personnel involved not realise that a 19" monitor does not fit into a box 10" x 6", but also thay must have all expected it to weigh - well roughly the same as a cd - which is precisely what I got - all 8kg of it according to part of your tracking system - or 0kg if you looked elsewhere.

I particularly liked it when it was stated to be being manufactured - I am suprised your factory staff did not realise that they had made a cd instead !
