...you've guessed it, one monitor lead and one 'Robots Print Studio' CD.
I assume that the small box with the disc in should have been the monitor - the Dell shipping sticker has the part number of the enclosed disc on it, so the fault is with Dell.
Oh well, here we go again... :wall:
Same as...... I'm supposed to be getting a call tonight about it now. What a farce.0 -

I had another email from them my 5th email since I order the monitor still no luck but I want my 19" LCD flat screen!!.
Dear Customer
Thank you for placing an order with Dell. We regret that we have not been able to complete the processing of your order xxxxxxxxx as your payment has not been authorised by your Credit Card company. This can happen if the address or other information held by your card company does not match the details we have on your order, or if the required funds are not available on your card.
If you would like to place a new order using the same credit card, please first contact your card issuer to confirm that the address information they hold is correct and that funds are available, and then call our sales team on:
UK customers - 0870 353 6040, selecting "Sales" from the phone options
Irish customers - 01 204 4000, selecting "Sales" from the phone options
Bla, bla, bla!. Awainting 6th email reply!!.
As far as I know, my payment went through OK - they have sent me something after all!
As your payment failed, I would assume it would be a matter of ringing them with the order number and getting them to re-authorise the payment on the order, with a different card if possible - if they have cancelled the order because of this, I'm not sure what you can do apart from complain - complain - complain?
I also found that I seemed to have more joy if I quote the original internet receipt number rather than defunct order numbers...0 -

I tried ringing them just goes in circles so I give up and send them an email instead so they reply back to me by phone hopefully. You never know I just might put them on hold for a while I have a cup of tea!!!!. :rotfl:0 -
I've also got a robots cd and a power lead, which number did you ring guys?
Edit- 01344 860456
Ringing me tomorrow with details, they know this is not the first one and are looking into it.0 -
I got a CD too.
Shocking.
Can somebody please advise as to the best number to chase this up with?
ThanksBe nice0 -
0870 9060010
Is the number they give you - but I've also put a query in by e-mail and a complaint e-mail through dell's system. At least that way you get a Dell case No.All the World is a Stage; and I'm going through a difficult one at the moment!0 -
Ring 00 353 120 44 000 goes through to Irish customer service and if you use 18866 its alot cheaper than ringing the 0870 number or use 01344 860 456 and ask for Home customer support0
