no, the Thanks received all remain intact when a post is removed.

Looks like a lot of them are being listed on Ebay. One sellers listed 10 of them.

I did email them yesterday, but I don't this had anything to do with it - the order was dated 2 days earlier when it came through.

Your fellow malcontent here who had also given up the ghost on this.
Decided to phone Dell this morning after reading about some of the more recent developments and despite receiving two cancellation emails in past three weeks , I now find that my order has been rebooked!!
Got a new order number from girl and it shows as processing on website, no email confirmation as yet.
We can only live in hope.

It's inevitable I'm afraid.... always going to happen. And it's the exact reason why I don't post many of the bargains I find anymore. Though sometimes the bargain is more likely to be honoured if there's been a substantial amount of orders. Like what frequently happens with Dell

I'd also thrown the towel in, after receiving the cancellation emails...

but everything looks OK on the new pdf they have sent and I assume I will be receiving the monitor as promised.

It's took some time to sort out, but if, like other posters, I receive a nice shiny TFT I will be very happy with Dell and more likely to use them in future - they certainly didn't have to honour these orders.

So thanks to charlie12 again, and to Dell too. :beer:

I notice on the Dell website that it says special deals/offers are limited to 5 per customer... there's some on ebay with a lot more than that. I'm surprised they didn't invoke this ruling...

I had ordered one TFT at about 19.15 on the day of Charlie's original post but never received a PDF from Dell & after contacting them by e-mail, I like many other people received the emails saying that my order had been cancelled & later one saying someone would contact me. Despite further e-mails I heard nothing & assumed I wouldn't be receiving my order. Then a few days ago when I received an e-mail from someone introducing themselves as my account manager & suddenly this morning then received a PDF for a E196FP monitor & its due to be delivered next week.
Success at last & if it arrives on Tuesday it will be a nice Birthday present to myself!
