Has anyone who received these got any views on how good they are (since mine doesn't work!) Better or worse than the 17"?

Have the carriers been calling to arrange delivery? It says on their parcel tracking screen that they will? Also, if you're not in what is the procedure? The carrier for my order is a company called Walsh Western.

When I had a Dell PC delivered in October they just turned up without ringing first. I also signed up for the email alert and that arrived after the PC. But as I was dead chuffed with the bargain price of the PC I wasn't complaining, nor will I if (fingers still firmly crossed,I'll believe it when I see it mode) and when the monitor arrives.

EDIT: Message left on answerphone this afternoon Deliver on Tuesday. I think having read biglugs posts I'll uncross the fingers after the monitor has worked for 24hrs.

WW called me and left a message on my mobile to tell me when my screens would be delivered, and they were bang on the time they said they would. Pretty unusual I thought, given my previous Dell deliveries from WW.

I having a success had a nice reply from the email I sent to them here what they said:

Thank you for contacting Dell Online Customer Care.

Please accept my apologies for the difficulties encountered when attempting to resolve your issue. I assure you that your situation is not indicative of the quality service Dell is capable of providing. I am truly sorry that we were not able to provide an experience that was completely satisfactory to you.

We have raised a fresh order and you may receive it shortly.Kindly confirm the same on receiving the order.

Just had a call enquiring if next Tuesday evening between 17:00 and 21:00 would be suitable for my delivery of 2 super dooper 19 inchers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had a call today saying my order will be delivered on Monday 'between 8am and 6pm'.

im getting annoyed with mine now, it has been stuck at stage 1, order processing since tuesday. this cant be normal?
