    had given up on these until the .pdf arrived 2 days ago and now I have received despatch notification and a tracking number and, on checking, they have left Limerick and are on the way to me.

    Good on Dell for sorting this out and I am interested to see what actually turns up.

    Good luck to the rest of the disappointed buyers, I hope Dell sorts it for all of you.

    Can somebody please advise? My order for 1 went through. This was my order for 10.
    Im 99.999% sure my details would be right. Surely they should give you a chance to sort this? I even had an irish email telling me it was ready for dispatch.. so why wouldnt they let me sort my payment??

    Any ideas please :)

    Ye.. but they r saying my card company refused it..
    I know I have at least £4k I can put on that card...

    either:

    1) check with your card company, they might have blocked the transaction as a security measure as it was a high amount.

    or:

    2) you ordered too many :rolleyes:

    Are "closed" threads always as ongoing as this one?
  • I only ordered one 19in TFT but I see from the delivery tracking service that 2 boxes are on their way.
    I also cannot see when any money has been taken by Dell from my account.

    Has anyone else whose order has been despatched checked the number of boxes on the way or if their accounts have been debited.

    Initially you may recall that 2 empty boxes were going to be dispatched I trust I'm going to recieve something more exciting than 2 empty boxes.icon12.gif

  • I'd pretty much given up on this one after numerous email exchanges and phone calls when out of the blue I discovered my order has been re-instated with effect from Tuesday 6 December. Maybe it pays never to give up and perhaps Dell have realised that they cannot afford to alienate people in this way. Let's see what happens ...

    My point is that an Irish bloke phoned, to tell me order was ready for dispatch.
    HSBC told me that I didnt have that amount declined..
    A bit dodgy if you ask me.. but cant get thru on phone 0870 9060010 :( Just music for ages
