I had to make some fizzy jelly after that..mmm strawberry and lemonade with some real strawberries in as well..i love it when it fizzes on the tongue, mind the coca cola ones taste nice too..and i only use sugar free, but i don't think that is for when you have the runs...
Hope he is better tonight and you as well. xBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Just thought I'd pop on here quick as DH has just took the dog and DGS for a walk.
I got a letter this morning from the Halifax RE: that complaint..they offered me a goodwill payment of £200 for the stress and inconvenience caused...I have accepted and sent it off as at least they are admitting their mistake or I could've took them to the ombudsman...but that takes ages...so better than a kick in the teeth.I've already left them so they will send me a cheque.
DGs hasn't had the runs today ye tso I think he's ok but he does have tummy ache.He ate his breakfast... 2 weetabix...we went to MCds for lunch and he just had 3 fish fingers ...he's had no sweets or anything like that and hopefully he'll eat some tea.
We've been to town today and he now has a new winter coat and new socks,a postman pat play set is keeping him quiet as well.
Will catch up with all of you later when he's in bed.0 -
I will let you in on a little secret..i still have a Jess the cat, from my children's younger days..he is lovely and sits on the sofa with me..I loved watching that programme with them.
Sounds like you have enjoyed the day too and wow with the cheque as well. I know it was inconvenient having to move, but the letter was worth it and you certainly showed your mettle!
Hope the rest of your day is as nice.xBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Hi ISOM..it shows how in the wrong they were with what they did to us.As how many banks offer £200 as a gesture of goodwill to a customer that has already left their bank due to their inadequacies?..they sent me the booklet regarding the ombudsman as my next course of action.I did think about taking them there or FSA but decided to just leave it...luckily for them...as I had some good points to make...I actually now cannot bear to walk into a Halifax branch ever again...
must update my sig as well.0 -
