Hi everyone:hello::hello::hello:
Thought my old diary was getting a bit tired and a bit negative. So have decided on a new start:D:D.
We have had plenty of ups and downs the last few months and I now want to be on the up again.
My plans are to:
(1)...give up smoking and put the £10 a day into my savings tin....I have got champix from the Drs today
(2)...lose weight...been to Drs and going on the weight management programme.
(3)....Get some physio on my back..Dr has arranged that today..and then I can exercise thus helping me lose weight.
(4) ..pay off the BMI card before christmas as that is when the 0% runs out
(5)...put tax money away every week into my offset so as I don't have to borrow when it's due....
I'm just in the process of changing from Halifax to A+L so can't put the money in my mortgage account until my DD is set up as my mortgage will only take money from my current account and the money is sat in the A+L account at the moment..lol
I'm feeling quite positive at all these life changes and really do want to get fit and healthy before I become immobile..my back is really that bad!!!!
So just thought it was a time for a new diary xxx

I'm loving all the positive changes that are afoot... Good luck with the back issues, I think back pain can be like toothache, relentless

The next phase of the plan is to pay Virgin off by July and A+L by August next year..In the meantime trying to pay my mortgage off..my loans have a long time to run 2 until 2011 and one until 2012...by which time I'm hoping that I've managed to pay my mortgage off...leaving us totally debt free.
There is no point in overpaying my loans the only saving to be made would be to save up and pay off in full even then they charge 2 months interest...but will think this over when all the CCs are paid off.
For those that don't know loan 4 is for the new taxi we had to buy as a replacement for the 10 month old taxi that somebody kindly wrote off for us!!!!
We are awaiting our loss of earnings and DHs compensation for his injury.
Hope I haven't bored you all to sleep by now xx0 -
Thanks for the link KM....agree about it being relentless...(backache)....this is the NEW positive me...xxxx0

Hey Taxi loving the new positive diary.
Good luck with your journey and with quitting smoking. I gave up 5 years ago and my only regret is I didn't do it sooner.
Putting your tax away is a brill idea, I'm not self employed but I know it would be something I would struggle with. It must be so tempting to spend the cash now and worry about the tax bill later.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712
