Glad you had a better day on the taxis today...it all helps in the scheme of things. Was Blackpool clogged up with the peeps having a ganders at the lights? My friend works at the job centre and was complaining what a nightmare it all was yesterday.

nice new diary i see. Good luck with the not smoking. Every time you think of having a cigarette think of your dear grand child and how much you want to continue to see their progress. Best deterrant ever that was for me. I don't have grand children but I also knew I didn't want my children to lose their mother to cancer either.

Sorry to hear of the back ache can OH do some gentle massage to help. I get minor back ache and a massage from my OH works really well. I imagine with your back being worse though you would need to be careful.

You beat me to a new diary Im about to start one. Need to redefine my goal for the end of the year. I should include losing weight in mine to but with everything else that always goes to the bottom of the list!

I really hope you are able to beat the smoking habit not only for money but health reasons. OH gave up a few months ago. I swear he has the odd one but still he has done so well to give up such an addictive habit.

WOW...thanks everyone....just popped in to update and loads of replies!!!!...
Let me try and remember them all..LOL...
The quitting smoking I have taken the second tablet..re..the quit date lets make it the 8th September (day 10)..you have it in black and white now...LOL...I am going to do this and good luck to anyone else trying to give up.
Have looked under the bed (where some of the accounts have been kept) and still can't find the statements....The Halifax account isn't shut yet as I'm still awaiting the DDs changing over...when I phoned yesterday and ordered them they said 7-10 working days...DD is back this Thursday so will know where she has put them probably!!!!
My back is easing off a bit now...thankfully..a massage off DH ...would be helpful if we are in the house at the same time..LOL...but will ask him as soon as we are.
Had a good day on the cab again and DH had a good night last night so alls good on that front.
The traffic was absolutely awful on friday..your friend wasn't exaggerating there!!!!!
Not a lot else happening here.Hope everyone has had a nice day xxx
