Hi Taxi, just caught up on this discussion. Its convinced to me to go buy some shoes at the weekend - I'm wearing trainers that I relegated to the garden years ago, but brought them back into service when I hit all the financial problems. They fit *so* badly, and the ones that I tried to replace them with fit even worse, they cramp my toes.... this is really making me think. I hope you're feeling better today, your back sounds agony.

It is scary, isn't it. I felt quite shocked at lunchtime about the Icelandic banks.
Hopefully the savers will all get their money back. Still, I hope you can focus on enjoying the day with DGS.

Thanks am having him for a couple of days but he's got the runs today so I've had to put him in nappies again..bless him.We are going to get him a new coat and socks tomorrow...he seems quite well and is playing but has the runs. Will see if I've got any calpol for his tummy x
  • aww what a shame. i used to find jelly made with lemonade very good for runs when they were little as it helps bind and replaces the sugar and salts lost and is nice on tummy too.
