Hi all..what awful weather today. My curtains are still hung out on the line so are soaked.Went out this afternoon and went into K Shoes (it's a outlet store) and bought 2 pairs of black flatties for £30 ...their original price £44.99 per pair...they have air insoles....so have thrown my old worn out sandals away.
I'm hoping that these new shoes will help my back and that I'll find it easier to walk...making me do exercise.
Also whilst there went into Tesco and got loads of organic meat half price plus all my fruit and veg(organic)..that was full price unfortunately.
Am just going to chill out tonight .Hope everyone is having a good weekend xx0 -
Did you try the organic box offer on Quidco? I know they operate in our area..can't remember their name though..will have a look back through some threads. Hope the curtains turn out ok..forgot to add mine are lined as well and they always turn out nice.
Those shoes sound good, you can't beat air insoles. I once had some and wore them to death as i am on feet all day. I mentioned you to my sis last night and she says it is the best thing that has happened to her, having to wear an insole in shoe and she looks a lot brighter and less tired herself.Hope they work equally as well for you too. It was something else she mentioned about keeping on top of footwear as well, because if the heels are worn down they too will have a bad affect on posture and joint wear through pronation(?) I think it is about your foot rolling around.
Hope the rest of your day is good and thanks for all the info so far.xBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Thanks for that about your sister mine sounds exactly the same .My stand is completely different in these shoes...wearing down does make a difference.I've got 2 pairs now anyway as DH says I need to buy them as I need my back to be a lot better to drive the taxi.
Not done anything today really and may go back to work tomorrow but DH said to see how I feel in the morning..that means whether I can get to bed and get up..LOL0 -
Hope the shoes help your back. Different shoes really do affect how you feel. I went to the Science Museum yesterday wearing Doc Martens and my feet were really tired at the end of the day.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

hope you manage work ok.hugs for you as know its agony but also think a massage will help loosen up the stiff bits...worth the investment so please try and find dish for sommat - much more important than curtains!!.
Re the feet its icredible how much your feet turn in (pronate) and how this affects the whole alignment of your back. Hopefuly you'll get a biometric test - ie you walk accross a long mat that has sensors and you can see how you walk - I walk inwards on my right foot and my hip is higher so whole back out (must wear insoles more...)...take a while to get used to though!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Hope the shoes work for you Taxi and you feel good in the morning - this damp weather has started OH's back. I have to get his painkillers when he wakes up and about half and hour later he can then get out of bed!
