I don't listen to radio 2 so missed that.Bet it was interesting though.perhaps I can get that on iplayer or whatever it's called I will ask DH to show me how it works on his computer.

Hi taxi - glad to hear things are a little bit better for you - I bet the not-smoking is helping in the long run. Sorry to hear about DS tho. And I'm with you on hating the Halifax - if I hadn't had a backup plan, they could have seriously mucked up my retirement plans.

Hi KC and everyone..hope you are all well on this lovely sunny day...
I've been busyish today...done loads of washing and dried it on the line.Hoovered the whole house.DH and I went out for breakfast which made a nice change.We walked there and I also popped into a shop that sells blinds and have booked the man to come and measure up next Thursday.They had quite a few offers on ie 3 blinds from £99....I only need 6 for the whole house...they had a few different ones I like that varied between £99-£170 for 3.
I will pay for them out of my emergency savings if I have them done.
Apart from that not a lot of debt busting going on.
I have an appointment at the gym next Saturday and they will take account of my bad back etc.
So trying to do some positive thingsxx have a good day xx

ahhh Lloyds...now theres a bank I loathe...First direct all the way me!! Dont care if they cost a bit more - worth it for excellent cust service!
Keep plugging away with teh fags taxi...maybe get some lozenges in for the emergency days when you need a fag so at least it gets you out of the motion of smoking? well done on paying yet more off!! Any news from sols dare I ask?

Are you going all atheletic now? I love this weather, and am thinking of going to the Lakes tomorrow if it keeps up. I am impressed with all the house work as well. Hope work has been good today.x
