re the back could you get a referral to a podiatrist? Mine did a walk test accross a funky mat that then comes up on screen and sussed that one side was wonky so gave basic insoles and feels much better...plus free!! Hope you sort it...another sleepless night for me but its working back into work me thinks...ahhhhh

Sorry to hear your back is still playing up Taxi. OH suffers terrible with his from a bad car crash before I met him. We bought a Silentnight orthapaedic mattress and his physio told him that orthapaedic mattresses shouldnt be used by people who already suffer with their back. He slept in DD's bed for a few nights and she in with me and the difference was amazing. Anyway to cut a long story short it may be worth seeing if your mattress is suitable as it could be affecting your sleep and posture.

Thanks have phoned the Physio and my appointment will be next tuesday...so only a week to wait.
I definitely need to see about my mattress.The pain is getting worse ...it runs all the way down my spine ..into both hips and along the inside of one leg now!!!...It's from the top of my spine to my tailbone and sitting hurts across both hips....
Forgot to add I've updated my sig as 2 loans came out today totalling..£508.32..this brings my total to over £25k paid off this year.so am happy with that.

Is this still from the accident last year Taxi? Or have I got that wrong? Hopefully the physio will be able to help you and quickly though!

Hi dragon,
I've had a bad back on and off for years.It was made worse when I had an accident about 10 years ago.It has always come and gone since then..but this time it hasn't.The painkillers aren't working that well either.Before when I've had them they usually work.
I'm overweight and I know this doesn't help matters but the Dr said it isn't down to wait.She thinks I need a scan but they don't order them Physio have to order scans.I have paid privately for Physio on and off for years bit it isn't very MSE at £30 a go...when I go I usually need 3 a week!!!...the physio has said before now that it is a compressed disc.So I don't know really.
Will have to see what they come up with next week.

Ouch Taxi - that sounds almost as bad as my injuries - you take care and look after that sweetie otherwise you will end up like me (and trust me that is NOT something you want to do! :rolleyes:)

I haven't Lucielle but I think I've got one somewhere..I'm taking it easy at the minute Dragon...I daren't do anything else until I know what it is exactly.
