I had a great nights sleep last night :j - usually I toss and turn all night but DH gave me a massage with a blend of essential oils given to me by a friend who is trained in this - they were a blend especially for IBS - peppermint, lemongrass, black pepper and I think it was camomile. Morning all, I've just caught up on y/day's thread.
SMOKY, I agree with all on here about the headstone, hopefully it will also remind you of how many of us are here for you 24/7 and we have endless gentle hugs for whenever you need them.

SYBIL, Please send a copy of your post to Dr.

AUSSIE, Your skirt looks great, clever clogs.

BEMUSED, Hope DS is improving, try not to worry too much.

I have a pork cass in the SC and BM on, dinner to take to DD2 and SiL 2b.
DD2 phoned last night when she got home from work, she was so pleased and in between tears thanked me for transforming her kitchen. I emptyed every cupboard, cleaned and sorted through and there is so much more space now. It took me from 9.45 till 5.15 but that included oven cleaning and windows, I think I would still be doing it now if it wasn't for Stardrops, Starclean, vinegar, newspaper and Bicarb. I love this OS.

Today I will do their bathroom and ironing. I'll take my new MR Jet stream elite so should wizz through the pile, I haven't tried it yet but have great expectations. I need to pop into curtain shop and buy them some new nets for the sitting room so she doesn't have to wash and rehang the only ones she has in one day. I enjoy doing anything that will ease the stress for her.

DD reached 3 mnths into her pregnancy y/day, so danger period over, thank God, now she feels able to tell everyone her good news.

Just gonna have a coffee and get on.

    ((((((((((( HUGS )))))))))))) to all.

    Morning all :hello:

Feeling a bit more like my old self today. :o (stop groaning at the back) :p

Plans for today are to clean kitchen and bathroom, potter in the greenhouse and do a basket of ironing. Tea is pork chops (1 each Diva!!! :D ) with 10p finest roast peppers and HG tomatoes and HG aubergines and 10p new potatoes.

Also need to file the VAT return online. It's done but I can't seem to commit myself to sending it in case I've made a terrible mistake.

    Moliere... That's a lovely gesture. :A
Janny and Tired mum, enjoy your days out.
Hugs to Beemuzed and your DS.
Stef....ahem.....*insert foot tapping smilie*... tell us more please. :D
Beth, I'm glad DD has safely reached 3 months. :j
Taplady.... I'm glad your "massage" worked. :p;):D

    Almost forgot... Here is the recipe for the passionfruit muffins;

    9oz SR Flour
    1 tsp Bicarb
    6oz Caster Sugar
    1/2 tsp Salt
    1 large egg
    1 tsp Vanilla essence
    9 oz milk
    3 oz Veg oil.

Mix the dry ingredients together, then mix the wet ingredients in a separate bowl. Blend together but not too well (it should still be lumpy)

That's the basic recipe. yesterday I added passionfruit (5) but other things we like are

choc chips, raspberry and white choc, blueberry, grated carrot, mixed seeds and lemon curd. ;)

Cook at Gas 5 for 20 minutes. Makes 12 big ones. :D

    Hi everyone

I'm not at wo*k again...I did get half way there, but decided my back was too sore and so headed home again. So that's two days without pay thanks to it... I'll definitely be there on Monday come hell or high water, I simply cannot afford to be unpaid.

SisterCas, I'm so jealous of your trip to London. I used to live there and regret leaving. There is so much to see and do, though I have never in my entire life witnessed a sight as spectactular as Lee Mead in a loin cloth:o

Mioliere, what a sad story about your mum's doll when she was a little girl. It's so telling that she has such a vivid memory of that incident all these years later. I hope nobody would ever dream of doing such a thing to a child these days.

Mellika, I'm no expert, but I'm sure you could improvise to get your veggies growing. After all in the olden days there was no such thing as garden centres and the like. I'm thinking along the lines of little pots made out of newspaper,
cloches made out of plastic bags etc. Errr, no I know nothing, but I'm sure some of the regulars on the gardening board will have lots of money saving tips for you if you enquire there.

It's a lovely sunny day here:T so will put some washing out on the line. It's too heavy to carry, so one piece at a time (well, maybe I can manage two socks at a time).

    Have a nice day everyone.

    morning all

cloudy here today. might get away with putting washing out, did 4 loads yesterday (DD dropped off 3). Its only OH's muddy jacket from the weekend (you know what bikers are like at rallies rolling round drunk in the mud) :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

SMOKY - Thats a lovely idea for the money. And the kids would love that trampoline.

My mind has gone blank again....went shopping yesterday, put shopping away mostly fridge stuff, then promptly put house keys in there too, OH asked if there was something he should know?:rotfl: :rotfl: I have alot going on at the moment, but didnt think i was getting ditzy just yet.....

    catch you all later :grouphug:
