    And of course while you lot are all phoning Dell, you are instantly eliminating the ridiculously slim chance you had before by highlighting your erroneous order.

    Someone phoned when the offer was still there and then it was removed.

    Most of us have held off making enquiries untill now as it takes 72 hours to get PDF but we have not had it so we are contacting them now.

    So by phoning now it makes no difference.

  • I think that as soon as 1 person rings they know about the error, so its unliklely to make any difference otherwise. I didn't mention the pricing error - THEY did. I was just phoning to get the prgress of the projector.

    The number called is the web sales helpline - someone mentioned it on page 16 of this thread I think. Very friendly - even said "enjoy the rest of your day"... lol! I will if you give me the projector!!! ;)

  • this is my first post on this subject (i`m actually involed discussing this on another 2 forums) anyway i emailed them yesterday and just got this :

    My guess is they will offer this at a reduced price . say there is no way anyones going to get this for 20 quid ::)

    seaniboy:  I think you should cancel your original pc order if they don't process these orders.  It doesn't matter about the profit for dell, its the principle.

    I think that would be taking it alittle to far. If they make a stupid excuse maybe, if they say that they cant honour because of the huge pricing mistake, so what? £20 for a £1200 projector, come on, you seriously didint expect them to honour those orders.

    Im hoping they do, but its very unlikely they will, cancelling another order over it is just stupid.
