    Evening everyone!

My September challenge started yesterday - put me down for £400 please. As usual, this is for 2 adults, 3 children (1 in nappies) all groceries (packed lunches for 5), toiletries, cleaning stuff and contact lens solutions for me!

Had my 1st Tesco shop of the month delivered on Tuesday evening - bought LOADS of essentials (loo rolls, washing powder, toiletries, cleaning stuff, dishwasher tabs (on BOGOF;) )) - should have come to £119.04:eek: - but instore savings were nearly £20, I had a £13 off code from MSE & £12 of clubcard vouchers to spend. Came in at a very respectable £74.53:T :T :T

    Current spend is: £74.53:D

Popped into Mr Ms today determined to stick to just the 2 things I went in for: cheese & Solero ice lollys (ssh, all flavours; 3 for £1, they are 99 cals each ...........100 if you eat the stick!!), plus a bday card & my passport photos - yikes!!! ....................However, they were just putting out the veg whoopsies, so I was forced to look at them. Their veg whoopsies are usually good, not like the general ones which are pretty expensive in our Mr Ms. Now I have 2 big bags of broccoli heads (29p each) & 2 big bags of sweetcorn cobs (39p)... sorry for all the dots, the cat keeps walking all over the keyboard I think he is hinting it's time for their supper??

I saw somewhere where someone asked the question about freezing corn on the cob but didn't see the answer???? Does anyone know if I can freeze it as is or do I have to blanch it or something...TIA if you can help
