Hi :hello:. I hope everyone is o.k? I didn't do last months challenge, I don't know why, I just seemed to have got side tracked
but could you please count me in again for september, £160. I'm starting uni soon and need to get back in to this challenge so as we can survive on what little money I will be getting. The builders have started work on my kitchen today and all that is left in there now is the kitchen sink, that sholud be fun trying to eat over the next week, on the plus side i can start looking for a fridge/frezzer:j and then stock the frezzer up with loads of HM meals.
Shelley xBack on MSE again! to take control of my finances and not let it control me. :T May grocery challenge £41.96/1400 -
Please can i join this month
It's for 2 adults and 3 DS's who have hollow legs. DH is a big meat eater so we will try for £400 please, but I'd like to reduce this. I have never added receipts up before so it is a bit of a stab in the dark but here goes.....I know I spent less in August as I cooked from scratch mostly but work and school and football etc etc are rearing their ugly heads and I find it hard to juggle. I have done my meal plans though :j
thanks
BelleGetting there...slowly!
GC : must do better
NSD: very rare

HI,
Count me in for this one - my first attempt to do this - reallty need to though, as hoping to cut hours at work soon. Please put me down for £240 (me, DH,DD and 3 pets).
Just hope I can persuade DD to take packed lunches to school instead of about £3 per day in canteen.
Sorry no fancy totals at bottom of post - not techie enough to do that.

Hi all, well a NSD today, on groceries anyway, DS had been so good this morning he wanted to go KFC for lunch (NB this is only on a rare occassion) so took him there, then to the park.
Friends have txt to say they are having a BBQ tomoz, so i can imagine when we go to get some beers to take, that the shops will be heaving!! Aren't they always.....
Then on sunday MIL is still away at GT Yarmouth so sunday lunch will be Pizza Hut with the vouchers converted. Sorted. Hopefully shouldnt use any money from the GC fund????????
Take care everyone

Hiya Heather
If you wanted to add a fancy total at the bottom you click on User CP on the turquoise bit near the top left of the page and then if youclick on edit signature you can add all the fancy totals you like!
It took me a while to get the hang of it, because I am a non technical female womanbut it's not too hard really.
Try it!
