Been to ASDA today, and got a full trolley for the week, as i'm sick of doing bits n bats of shopping all week:)Put all my little coins in the coin star and got £16 voucher off shopping, and spent £38 so have come in under my target this month, and that included dog food and loads of vitamins etc, so i'm chuffed as DD' s been here 3 weeks n I thought it would've cost a lot more.So i'll declare this month at £150.82 and wanna have a target of £160 for october please:D"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

OK I am going to run my month pay day to pay day and declare september at £206.48.
Mrs M can you put me down for £85 please? We are away for a fortnight, so that sounds about right...plus I am hoping to stop buying bread as I got a panny today! (Birthday present)
OH laughed as 6 years ago on our 1st christmas living together, he kept saying he was going to buy me a deep fat fryer, and I told him in no uncetain terms that I would insert it into a certain part of his anatomy if he bought something practical like that!
He got a broken kettle free from a local store and put concert tickets inside it and wrapped it all fancy...apparently my face was a picture until I realised he had well and truely stitched me up!
It shows you how our priorities change (and how this board influences me for the better)now I am really excited by a bread maker!
Good luck everyone!

Hi pink princess,
It's exciting when you grow your own veg and they work isn't it! I only began growing our own fruit and veg last year so I'm no expert but it may be a bit late for growing potatoes now (saying that I forgot about some last year and left them over winter and they were lovely when we found them) and peppers are also best started in the early spring as they need lots of sun and heat. If you have a look on the Greenfingered MoneySaving board you'll find lots of information about what is worth planting at this time of year.

Edit It just came into my mind...garlic is good to plant in October and will be ready to harvest in June or July.0
