I am on the budget lists you have just posted 3 times- once as £200 monthly, once as £40 weekly and once with my name under weekly and no budget.
It is £200 monthly for me this time.
I am sorry if I caused confusion changing from monthly to weekly back to monthly :o
Thanks for all the work you do.
    xx

MrsM please put me down for £200 for October

I have cut back slightly to take into account that I bought 1/2 a pig this morning, so I'm going to spread the cost over the next couple of months GC wise.

I'm currently on £211.31 so I might make it to tuesday just under - I only need potatoes tomorrow - Roast pork for Sunday lunch tomorrow, what a supprise:rotfl:

I did the last shop of the month. I managed to get cheese, apples, whole chicken & cod fillets whoopsied. And the market value potatoes were only £1.28 for 5KG & look fine.

I have retrieved some odd bits of different fish from the darkest recesses of the freezer to defrost in the fridge over night & will make a huge fish pie tomorrow. With the 2KG of mince & some of the previously whoopsied chicken breasts that are also in the freezer, as well as some left over cooked chicken from a previous roast, I should have the basis of most of October’s meals!

Tomorrow I shall have huge fun wading through my recipe books & will do some more batch cooking on Monday (when working at home).

So I am declaring £175.15 for September.

Can you put me down for £160.00 for October.

Thanks to all for you help, support, advice & inspiration. I am sure I couldn’t have done it without you. :A

  • Wow Mrs. Mc, what a big list.

I'm not declaring till Tuesday, hoping not to spend anymore but you never know!
Please can you put me down for £160 in October I know it's slightly up but it includes DD 18th birthday , so we're likely to have some extra treats.
