Smoky, how lovely to hear from you:D
Glad you're so pleased with the garden. You've just reminded me that I haven't watered the baskets today. Who's going to look an idiot in a minute watering them in the dark:rotfl:
Regarding the money. That was collected with love, to show some support for you at a terrible time. I think to put it towards a headstone would be lovely. The purpose was to show we cared, and it would be lovely to think we could help with Eric's permanent memorial. Hugs and love to you smoky, you're still my inspiration:kisses3:

Smoky... Thanks for the hugs. They're not really deserved but thankyou for your kind words. You're lovely.

I can't speak for anyone else but I would be honoured that we could have helped in this small way and there would be no better tribute than for the money to be used for Eric's headstone. I remember when my Mum died how difficult it was to make the final decision over the headstone. You have been so strong and we all admire you for it.
I'm so pleased that the garden is looking great.:j And as a means of [STRIKE]wearing out the little sods[/STRIKE] providing fun for the children I can highly recommend a trampoline.
I am glad that work is giving you some respite from your emotions and I am sure that having the children back at school will ease things up at home for you.
Take care. You're never far from our thoughts.

No way:rotfl: Actually I chickened out of a proper water, so I've chucked a can of water in the front basket and tubs, with a promise of a proper drink first thing in the morning:o Good job it wasn't overly sunny today:rolleyes:You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -

I soooo want to mess with this post.
Must. not. say. anything. about. proper. drinks. 0 -
Smoky - the headstone idea is great. I think it's really a touching way to spend the money. A wonderful tribute. The trampoline sounds a great idea for Xmas. I know XDIL has put one on lay-by for DGS for Xmas. If only it was going to be put down in my yard.

As for Haribo, I think she is on the wrong board.
I think she should be in the gardening board. She has a fixation with mowing the grass.
I'm still getting over the shock of CM watering in the nuddy. Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.

Ok I'm lost.
Is Churchie trampolining while naked down Under?
See what you've started Smoky.
And FYI Aussie, my lawn is beautifully manicured and trim.
I learned how to keep it that way from a lovely Brazillian gardener.
The muffins were lovely by the way. I'll post the recipe tommorrow.0 -

Never knitted in my life and don't even have central heating to keep turned off.
Yes, I managed to get some yellow stickered bargains last night but won't be attempting to eek out a pork chop.
This is the OLD STYLE daily thread. I'm Old Style and proud. But perhaps I'm posting in the wrong place now.
It was only meant to be funny. I am very sorry if I said something wrong.
. I don't knit or have central heating either actually and I know this is the OS Daily thread 'cos I post here and I love it! But I am still getting to know everyone so if I say something inappropriate, I am sorry.

If you post a picture of yourself nude, all will be forgiven.
