WS (((HUGGLES)) hun, also have a gander on the depression support thread, as there are many peeps in the same position as you.Hope you feel better soon[STRIKE]but I know it's not that simple hun[/STRIKE]:("You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

HI all - it's me again, having caught up with the thread.
WS - I fully endorse everything that Donny-Gal has said; keep taking the medication and show your GP a copy of your post. And please don't keep saying you are 'silly' because you're not! This is so common and you need the right sort of guidance with it.
Beth - for heaven's sake, slow down!
Aussie - Haribo's photo of your skirt is wonderful but you'd need to wear thermal knickers with it in the UK, not the PVC ones you would normally wear!
Mrs Moneypenny - your children went back to school early compared to here. My grandchildren go back in the first week of September - crickey, that's next week!
Tired Mum - those are very long hours, aren't they?
Whatatwit - I don't have a Wyevale near me but there are a couple of garden centres I shall visit next week when I hunt down a heated propagator for DS2's birthday pressie.
Well, I'd better go and do something.
See you all later.

Hello all !
Another very warm day.......started off really sunny but the clouds have moved in now.......just when I've put the washing out................typical.
Dreadful nights sleep with OH in and out of bed all night with tummy upset -got up this morning and course, nothing in the house for that so I have to hot foot it to the chemist for some sort of wonder pill to sort him out.
Seems to have done the trick anyway. He's up and about and feeling much better. I on the other hand feel like I'm in 'zombie' land or somewhere that isn't this planet anyway. One nights disturbed sleep really throws me so today its a day of doing nothing unless its important.
Have a good day and hugs (((((((((((:o ))))))))) to those who need themMary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

I had 3 pm's waiting for me this morning that suggested I copy this post over here from the end of yesterdays thread, so not being one to ignore such nice pm's... here it is.. :rotfl:
Geez girls! Am I conversing with a bunch of OS women, downing Gin and Tonic at a rate of knots; dressed in wooly home knitted cardigans to keep warm cos we have all turned our heating off despite it being 5 degrees below freezing? Same said women who waited all day to go shopping at Tescos 30 mins before it closed in order to get all the marked down food which they then bring home to eek out so that one pork chop feeds 15 with enough left overs to make packed lunches for 4? Or am I reading this thread all wrong???:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Love you all! Good days or bad days it's so great to know you are all here!

There are some apple and blackberry jam recipes on the Indexed Link under Preserving and Jam Making.
I have just made some plum and cinnamon jam, and it is lovely. The plum tree is still heaving with fruit, so off to find more recipes. You're only young once, but you can be immature forever

Ok, this is my real post for today! - Afternoon all!
Was woken by some nice workmen outside my bedroom door (Well, it sounded like it) wayyy too early as I wasn't really asleep til gone 0230, so gave up trying to sleep and got up and pottered...
I say pottered... what I really did was grab a book, a glass of fruit juice and did my dying swan act for a couple of hours. What I SHOULD have done is come online but my head was hurting so I decided looking at a screen probably wasn't a good move!
WSybil - Please do send a copy of your post to your Dr, you explained yourself so well and it really is a lot more commen than you realise and please PLEASE stop calling yourself silly, because you are not!
Hope your back feels better soon Snowy
Squiggly - as you can see I have reposted .. glad it made you smile!
Kaat honey - shall try that spinach recipe on the other half, so thank you! *hugs* from your sooouperstar!!
Treacle the fat cat wants attention so every two mins I am having to push her paws off my keyboard.. I have lost this post twice thanks to her and had to retype and I have some strange pages open that have come from nowhere. She really is the most annoying creature that ever lived when she is in the mood. And then she has the cheek to look affronted when I push her away!!:rotfl: I just had to lift her off the desk and you would have thought I was cutting her tail off, the yowls that came from her mouth!
Picked a lb and a half of tomatoes yesterday, and at least a 1/4 were fully ripe which was wonderful!! My cup floweth over! (Well, the bowl of tomatoes floweth over to be more precise!) Spent hours in the garden cutting all the blight off the tom plants in the hope a few more with ripen in the next two days!
Hugs to everyone who needs them and congrats to anyone having a birthday today!

Afternoon everyone
I have mushy brain syndrome so please forgive me if anything sounds daft
firstly ((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))) and :hello: :hello: :hello: :hello: :hello: :hello: :hello: :hello: to everyone
today has been ok so far i was up and ready first thing as it was the dreaded school shoe shopping day which went suprisingly well even dd who really doesn't like shoe shopping for school was sorted within 10 mins of brantanos so all that is now done their uniforms should be ok just need to check ds2's polo shirts to see if they still fit as his uniform changes completely next year so I don't really want to buy any more now dd's will be ok as she never seem's to grow
ds1 doesn't go back to college yet so I have a little extra time to sort him
I have had a small problem with the nasty neighbour again they asked if their contractor could come n my back garden yesterday to paint the fence so I said ok and made sure there was one of us in all day and nothing happend well she came ou when i came back from the shop's to apologise because they ran out of paint and would be coming back when they had more so I accepted her apology but made it quite clear that it would only be done at a time suitable for me and not cause me any more inconvenience
but I can see them kicking off about that
I have a bit of washing to do and some general tidying to do
pam xxxxI didn't say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you

Just spent another 2 hours trolling round town after middle DD trying to find school trousers, a black pe tracksuit & numerous other bits... Back home, still feeling headachy & knackered, so may go for a lie down for a while...
Kathy, sounds like you & me feel the same re charity shops - your BM sounds like a bargain though!!!! I do have a look every now & then to see if I can find anything bargainous, but they are definitely not as good as they used to be. Their loss sadly.
Aussie, I think the skirt looks lovely - well done! I've bought some interfacing to have a go a the handbag organiser pattern that someone kindly posted the other day... (or was it you who did?!?!)
MSDiva, thanks for reposting
Will catch up properly a bit more later hopefully.Live your life until love is found, or love's gonna get you down" (credit to Mika!)

Have just had a late low carb lunch so sitting here here with a coffee.
Two loads of washing are on the line. Bread maker has another two hours to finish a French loaf.
Collected prescription, went to library, got free range eggs from market, went to MrS for fruit and a few bits and bobs and got home only to turn round and have to go out again for cereal and a small loaf to tide us over till tonight.
Dried peas are soaking ready for me to make pea soup tomorrow in the slow cooker which should please DH.

"You are not silly!" Sending a note of exactly how you feel to the doctor is a great idea.
Could you set an alarm clock to remind you in the evening?
