Hi.have had lots of problems with just dial. All started when i moved tarriff from lite to international max. This tarriff is £24.99 per month and for that you are supposed to get free uk calls plus up to 60hrs free international calls(80+ countries). My wife calls her family in Bulgaria a lot so it sounded good. But they charged me the tarriff fee plus each and every call to Bulgaria which ran to over £100 over two months.I was silly.I just believed they would be free and did'nt check the account very often!.
As you all may know-their customer service is shocking!.Unanswered e-mails etc etc.But finally after a month of phoning their office in London i have been given refunds for these calls!.It just shows-never give up until they do!.
The lite tarriff is still among best as it has free eve and wknd calls so i would say stick to that tarriff!

Neil I have merged your thread with this existing one.
Post by MSE Andrea yesterday to help MSE users with JDS.
Hiya
Martin's pushed Just Dial Saver into giving us a special email address for MoneySavers.
If you have any problems with setting up your account or any other problems use this. Let us know how it goes

I have tried since 10pm on Thursday 12th Jan, to get a reply from emails to Just Dial.
I have sent to both the customercare@Just-Dial.com and the MSE@Just-Dial.com and there is nothing forthcoming on either.
I have an account number and a password and can log on to their site, but once on it I can't access either their help pages or the manage numbers pages.
They really are useless.0 -
Is it easy enough to switch from just Dial to the Primus service? Would Primus take responsibility for cancelling out Just Dial?
Thanks in anticipation.0 -
Dean just contact Primus and they will do all the work, primus is a much better company and i read on here somewhere they now offer off peak calls to mobiles 20p for 20 mins matching JDS! think you may have to mention this to them on sign up as i dont think its automatically included on sign up. Another thing is with Primus you cant check your call records until the monthly bill is sent to you unlike JDS. I am with JDS and wouldnt touch them with a barge pole if i was looking for a new CPS provider.

Finally got through on the website, but can't change numbers on there.
However they have replied to one of my earlier emails and gave information on how to change numbers, so hope springs eternal, I've sent off to them what they asked for.
I await developments.
This text is displayed on the 'about us' section of their website, quite ironic really?
Is this what they call Customer Service?
Ever called up your phone company and ended up on hold for ages? And then when you do get through to someone, the operator you talk to isn't much help? Or does your phone company send you heaps of unwanted mail, promoting services you don't want or need?
Frustrating isn't it? Even more so when you consider that your phone company actually overcharges you so they can staff and manage their expensive call centres and fund their marketing activity.
You'll find just-dial different
When you become a just-dial customer, all your queries are dealt with by e-mail quickly and professionally. We'll only contact you with your permission, and when we do get in touch, it'll only be regarding services and information you've told us you're interested in.
And what's more we never spend money on activities you can do without. You pay for calls and nothing else. That's why your phone bills and call charges will always be among the very lowest in the UK.0 -
Just saw ITV Lunchtime News and their was Martin MSE continuing to recommend this product.0

A message on the website to the effect of ' Sorry it's been playing up', would have done wonders for their PR.0

Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
