Paprika and chili would go well together with some salt and pepper. You might like to add a teaspoonful or so of sugar too as this caramelises and adds a nice sweet flavour. I fry this with garlic and onions and then add the meat etc.

    It's only a game

  • The favourite in our house is minced beef & tomato pasta sauce (home made of course !) in a wrap with a little finely chopped iceberg lettuce & a sprinkling of cheese.
I usually spread sour cream over the wrap first to help it stay together.
  • Hi Dobs. One of my favourite tortilla recipes is as cajun chicken - as follows:

    1. Chop chicken into pieces and cover with cajun spice, tossing them well and leaving for a while - though you don't have to. Fry or grill the chicken.
    2. Chop up some tomatoes and spring onions and grate some cheese.
    3. Mix a few spoonfuls of mayo (or yoghurt) with some mint sauce from the jar.
    4. Microwave tortillas, spread the mint mayo in the middle, add cajun chicken then spoon over tomatoes, spring onions and cheese. Yum.

Just to let you all know, If you are having them cold, I would 'cook' them first then let them cool down.

How do people freeze them succesfully? I froze one the other day and when i went to get it out it had broken into about 6 peices :(

  • I put mine at the top of the freezer where the ice cube tray goes, that way they dont get bashed about by other things.

At a mexican once, I remember having Chimichanga's (sp) where they are filled with whatever and deep fried, so crispy...they were lovely with sour cream and salsa!
