Morning, feeling much better this morning, was in my bed at 9pm last night with a thumping headache:o

Need to get the place sorted this week, got lots of studying to do before i start uni (3 weeks tomorrow!) and if the place is a mess i will end up tidying it rather than studying. So the plan is do all my flying in the morning so i can concentrate in the evening on my studying.

Glad Mil is getting better Denise.

    Morning All

Just doing the last few bits I need to do before the plumber arrives at 8. Got up a bit later than I would have liked but that's because I woke up at 3.30 when DH got up and took a while to get back to sleep!

I'll catch up in a bit

    Hi everyone

Having joined in with the housework flylady routine all week (we are trying on the DFW board) I have heard someone mention that they have signed up for the Christmas countdown organiser. I have had a look at the flylady site but cant find it:confused:

Does anyone here know about it as I usually start my Christmas prep in September.

    Morning all

Typical bank holiday monday weather here - it's raining!

Sorry I went awol last week - I was just so busy doing other stuff, I really didn't have time to catch up on the thread. This week is going to be busy too but I need the discipline of Pigpen's lists if I'm to get through it with a clean house at the end of it. So big hugs and well dones as appropriate to all who need them.

I'm only at work two days this week. Thurs, Friday and Saturday I'm involved in various ways in a large four day event that's taking place down the road so I'll be on my feet for most of those days. I'm also off to a ball on the Saturday night. Next Sunday, I think, will be spent doing absolutely nothing! Things I need to achieve outside of Pigpen's list this week are:
    • PAYE
    • Photos to Worcestershire
    • Prepare paperwork for Saturday
    • Dig out and label buckets for Saturday
    • Paint toenails
    • Find some shoes to go with my new ball frock :D
    • Prep planning objection reasons ready for next Monday
    • Wash up from dinner last night :o
    • Frontline the animals
    • Buy 'intermediate' distance spectacles so I can read the computer screen without hunching over
    • Pay for house insurance
    • Pay for car insurance
    • Pack ebay sales and post

Do hope to get the vacuuming done before bed time - probably in the commercial breaks on TV . . LOL

Just done the business budget - don't have enough $$$ to pay all the bills this month. Will have to get on the phone and chase all the people that are overdue paying us!! Actually - as it's raining - OH won't be working again tomorrow, so HE can do it!

Thanks for all the good thoughts for MIL, too :) She was apparently unhappy with progress today. She did something to her bad ankle yesterday and now it's all swollen. She wasn't going to tell anyone until it was explained to her that it might be broken and she wouldn't know it because of the lack of feeling in it!! She is now waiting on xray results!
