Count me in! It's the last week for me before back to school - but having to go into work Tuesday and Wednesday morning.

DD1 came home from brownie camp with a little extra - she seems to have picked up threadworms:eek:  So we have been driving round to find a late night pharmacy. All treated now!!

Still - she had a good time!!

Have really started to notice that the house is getting more organised - thanks for all the support and ideas ladies! Now all I have to do is keep it going when we're back to school.

Right - off in search of wine and a lazy evening watching trashy telly!

Serena - glad to hear everything is all ok!
DeniseNZ - great news about MIL

    See you later!

    Hi ladies

Im DEFINATELY in for this week. I am having a blast with this. Been looking at the threads re cooking apples and found a lot of ideas. Already have some stewing in the sc to freeze, although DF is quite concerned as we have a fridge/freezer combi and he reckons its already tight.

Have picked up the bedroom and s&s in the bathroom. Done the kitchen - yes again. Im not sure who mentioned earlier about my luck, but yes he is a very good man. Doesnt always aim staright in the bathroom but he does his fare share-Ive never HAD to cook, I do it when I want to.

Serena Im so glad DS is home and safe-I cannot imagine how I would have felt.

I still need to do my list tonight and am going to do some more of my control journal while Im at it. Will also iron jeans for DF to wear to work in (he says theres no need) and fold away last load in TD.

SM sounds like it's worked out for the best for you, have you thought of putting an ad on freecycle for an airbed? I'm going to once I've offered a few more things. It'll be there then incase of emergencies, we need one for when DPs brother comes away with us. Good luck with the car boot sale.
serena so pleased to hear he's ok, big well done to Reading police too, they must be ran off their feet this time of year with the festival being on but sounds like they've been brilliant.
juliejim when we were away we had to go to Woolies in Penrith and they had some bargains, unfortunately we had DSs with us and haven't had chance to pop back through to one without them.
polkadot all the children seem to go back different days, I have 2 children at different schools who go back on different days. Scotland's children are back already I think. Mine seem to be the latest at the 4th and the 8th.
    jjef yes, thank you x
Denise, sounds like your MIL is making good progress that is good news, sorry to hear Murphy isn't well :( that sounds terribly painful
Oh EEEK! GG my 2 had that recently, suppose camps another ideal time for them to be passed around, we've been checking them constantly since especially with using site loos etc. Don't forget the treatment in 2 weeks too.

I am so in this week, it's the only chance I have to get things ship shape before the return to school, everythings a mess and it's going to be some challenge. I also need to make sure I have all uniform things etc ready. Me and the boys are away from Saturday until Wednesday (DS1 back to school Thursday then DS2 the following Monday) so I want it all laid out ready. I know I need a coat for DS2 but the rest I haven't even checked through :o best put that on tomorrows to do list then.

Good news when we're away, I am taking you all with me, well I am going to try to, just ordered one of those mobile internet dongly things. Fingers crossed I can get it to work and pop in on a weekend when I get chance. Keep me occupied on a night when the boys are 'hopefully' asleep (unlike they are now) and I am sat alone. I'm still in 2 minds about the whole going there without DP on a weekend, unsure if it'll be a break or just more hard work (will have the dogs with me too as he's not in enough on a weekend) we'll see how it goes anyway.

I need to make my own list of sorts for tomorrow aswell as the list from pigpen (thank you) LR will however be the priority. One step at a time as they say, I will get there, ish :rotfl: I have to rake up the rest of the grass aswell because I didn't get it finished.
One day I might be more organised...........

That's fantastic news about your MIL and hope that Murphy's paw gets better soon DeniseNZ.

Yuck! To Ginger girl's DD's critters. Hope they'll clear up soon the poor thing.

We've decided that we'd better get to the carboot at 7.30am tomorrow, cos it starts at 9am and that'll give us plenty of time to set up and hopefully get a good spot. Not looking forward to such an early start though as I haven't been getting up early since we broke up for the summer, so will have to make sure I go to bed by 10 tonight so that I'm not too tired. It goes on til 2pm, so we will have to take a packed lunch. We went round to my M&D's today, and they've given use even more stuff to sell - I think we've got enough for about 3 carboots now! We're only getting a single pitch as it's £8 (one carparking space with the car in it) and we've got a pasting table and my double clothes rail. Hope it'll all fit. Getting quite nervous about it now. Will have to fly when we get home if we're not to tired. We're having the pasta sauce I made the other day for dinner, as putting pasta on is nice and easy.

Well I'd best start getting ready for bed now and set my alarm for 7am so we've got time to have breakfast and put the rest of the stuff in the car.

Take care everyone, and don't chat too much during the day or I'll never catch up! ;)

Sexymouse goodluck with the car boot sale tommorow-we'll be thinking of you.

Thanks for the answers re school closing. DF is on leave from 1st september going back the following monday. Im dying to go to a sandy beach and see some proper waves (not like what I saw at Mevagissey) so we are thinking of doing a daytrip to Margate. Just trying to work out which day is going to be less crowded (he hates crowds).
