Thank you very much all of you for the hugs and support - a fairly stressful three hours this morning!

I have passed on the hugs to DS1. We got back about an hour ago. I had a real job finding the police station in Reading, then had to go back to the Festival site to collect the tent and all his belongings, then try and get out of Reading again! He slept for a couple of hours in the car, had something to eat at the services, and was then much more coherent. It was similar to previous episodes, and I suspect that the tiredness from the three shifts and lack of sleep may have triggered it. It seems he felt very unwell at the end of the overnight shift early this morning, decided to come home, and couldn't find the station, and walked for miles. He has terrible blisters! On the plus side, he has recovered from this remarkably well so far, and much quicker than before.

Huge, huge thanks to the Police, who were absolutely wonderful, found him, kept an eye on him and bought him a BurgerKing!

I'll be back flying tomorrow morning, too tired to do anything tonight.

    I'm in - thanks Pigpen.
It's the last full week before I go back to work after 4 months off  so I need to get organised.

Each day is also going to have at least an hour's worth of planning or other school stuff added to it or I'll never get it all done!!!

    Evening everyone

been trying to catch up with the thread but have lost the place with what everyone is doing!!!
The one that sticks in my mind is Serena - you must have been so frightened for DS - glad to hear he is home safe with you and well done the police for looking after him.

Big hugs to everyone and I will try to keep up with your news!!

I intended to catch up with all the things I hadnt done but it was a lovely day so have been in the garden nearly all day - well except for when the queen my mother called in on her way home. I have weeded, cut edges, cut grass, trimmed bushes, cut back dead plants - filled my wheelie bin!!! It will all help later in making it easier to tidy up for the winter.

Thanks for the list pigpen - I'm in as much as I can manage this week - I am out allday tuesday at my brothers and all day wednesday going to Aberdeen with an elderly friend who is a bit nervous of travelling by herself - so i will have 4 hours to kill in primark etc!!!!

    Toots xx

Serena - just caught up with your sons saga. How scary for you and him . . . and I'm glad everything turned out ok.

    Morning all :)

I'm hoping, as I seem to hope EVERY Monday, that this week will go smoother than the last! MIL is in the rehab ward, and seems to be doing remarkably well. Her left side is affected, with no feeling in her arm and leg, but she is now walking, aided, with a walker.

Have had alot of catching up to do over the weekend with paper work and washing. It's raining yet again (we've had about 10 wet weekends ina row). Dogs haven't been walked for a few days - Murphy is three-legged at the moment, he split one of the pads on a back paw and is on antibiotics.

We are away next weekend so would like to leave the house in a reasonable state!
