I now have no water for most of the day and my gas will be going off at some point as well.

I've hoovered the LR - can't do the hall or stairs as they're covered in dust sheets.

Don't really know what to do next as I'm working round the plumber - might do some ironing.

    Hi all

    Just a quick apology.

I posted at the beginning of the week to say me and SIL were going to join up then I disappeared and she didn't post :(

Unfortunately my brother got rushed in to hospital so we have both been with him - anyeway he had an operation last night and is hopefully on the mend so as soon as he is back on hs feet e will be back.

We were chatting at the hospital and we both need to get on to this, the planning Christmas thread and a few other threads :)

Off to try and do a bit of a catch up before visiting this afternoon (a 70 mile round trip!)

Hope you are all ok and I hope little doggie Bo is ok too ((hugs))

    T xx

Morning all. It's a bit glum here this morning, although it is supposed to brighten up a bit later

Welcome kindlesgirl, forgot to say that last night.

Aw Sexymouse. I know how you feel with the IBS. I've suffered with it since I was 18, so that's 19 years. God over half my life. It's an awful illness that takes so many forms. Mine's mainly triggered by stress these days. Though too much dairy, garlic, onions or chicken can start it off as well.

My DH (second DH that is) thought I was making it all up until he read an article about it a few months back. We've only been together 7 years:rolleyes: I think he now finally realises how debilitating it can be. Hope you don't feel lousy for to long .:grouphug:

I'll be back in a bit with me list. After I've had my second cup of coffee.;)

    Hi all,

Definitely in this week. Can see improvements with this flying, which is SO motivating.

DeniseNZ - you may find this link interesting. I remember reading this in the Daily Mail about a headmaster's fight against his stroke, a fascinating and inspiring read::A

    morning all

I'm up and about but DH is still asleep...he said last night he fancied a lie in today, I just don't seem to be able to stay in bed these days! guess I'm so used to getting up for work. So i'm watching helicopter heroes on tv- haha i miss the days when i used to watch loads of morning tv!!

sexymouse & TAG - I've had my IBS for years too, though its not as bad these days as it used to be (i was once taken into hospital with suspected appendicitis it was so bad!) but i still suffer with bloating and, erm, wind a lot. DH kind of understands but is a typical man - can't understand why i still eat things that trigger it. part of the problem is not really knowing what does trigger it as it seems to alter constantly. i cut wheat out for almost 2 years which did help but its such a pain (esp as DH loves pasta!) I don;t know if you've tried windeze (sp) they help a lot with the bloating.

denise - good news about MIL
