can someone clear this up for me. at my local tesco one of the cs is a real stickler [my kids call her the dragon at the desk!]
i noticed my receipt was wrong and when i challenged it was given money back, when i asked about dtd, was told it was operator error and that dtd was only for sel mistakes? i was charged for 1 item 3 times and full price for 2 reduced items?
You were cheated out of your DTD.Recently I was overcharged on 2 salad pots they should have gone through at 10p each but went through at full price £1.35.The CS was not happy at £1.25 x2 and DTD making £5 I was owed and tried to fob me off.I told her I dont make the rules I just read them over your shoulder. The poster is displayed behind the desk."Sometimes life sucks....but the alternative is unacceptable."0 -
This is SO important.
I work out roughly what the bill is as I go round. I also check the summary for the special offers. Many a time I've got caught out by buying say on a BOGOF offer and buying the wrong variety/flavour on one of the buys.
Sometimes the offers are not offers at all. Asda was selling some garden games stuff at £5 each or 2 for £10??!!!
Also to check your change - I was given a very dodgy looking £1 coin. Ok, fairly easy to pass on but I didn't want the hassle. It was a completely different colour to the others and felt it wasn't the right weight.

Really interesting can someone confirm?
I get it 1/3 of the time without saying anything, sometimes I ask and get it sometimes I can't be bothered, but you should always get it ask see what happens!AKA: PC

Asda work a strange bonus scheme. Every store/store are starts with 100% and they slowly lose or gain % points based on there store and areas performance so I would imaging all those £2 gift cards because of their own mess ups would reduce that bonus.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/2000

I got stung for the 3 bottles of wine for a tenner at asda. One of the bottles was in the wrong section so cost me £18 quid odd. Unfortunatley didnt check my receipt that day so had drunk the bottle and display changed! Tried to get a not satisfied refund on the empty bottle saying didnt taste like a £7 bottle of wine but CS said I should have left a bit in the bottle! Got to try havent you?0

Aren't those incorrect pricings the fault of head office though?
Don't they set the tills & prices centrally.
Would be unfair to punish the store staff for their IT mistakes!0
