Hi Taxi - Im fine thanks, just trying to get back into a routine with everyone back at work/school/nursery!
Not much exciting to report at the minute. OH is having a couple of days break after the Christmas/New Year marathon! I am still managing my 15.00 a day to MBNA so on target to have cleared 500.00 off that by the end of the month. Snowball is looking good have managed to bring DFD down to July 2012 - just in time for the Olympics!
Have another assignment due in 2 weeks time so really need to get on with that instead of leaving it until last minute!
Hope you have a good holiday x x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Morning all - brr its freezing today, dreading what my gas bill is going to be after the last few weeks!
Have been updating the snowball today and have managed to reduce my DFD down to June 2012 - yeay!
I have 10,522.82 left to pay this year to keep with my target of clearing all debts apart from HSBC by 2010 which is still doable I think!
I have applied for another bank account with Natwest so I can split my essential bills and my debts as it is getting sooo confusing! Have been accepted and now I just need to sign and send it back - must remember to do that! I have also applied for the Child Tax Credit from when my daughter was born in 2003 - closing date for that is the end of Jan so just got in in time. Dont know if I will qualify or whether I have already had it but we shall see.
Lost another 3lbs at SW this week so have now lost 2 stone 2lbs and hoping to get my 2 1/2 stone award before the end of Jan.
Apart from that, nothing overly exciting at the mo. Kids, horse and OH all fine.
Hope everyone is well x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Thanks Luc - I stayed the same at slimming today because I have been a bit naughty this week - oops but at least it is not a gain!
Had some good news this morning - they are passing on the interest rate cut to us so the mortgage is reducing by 80.00 per month so that is more to throw at the debt. I know at some point the interest rate will go back up so will take advantage by paying off as much debt as I can!
Have been keeping up the 15.00 a day payments to MBNA and that now has a balance of 1548.25 so I am please with that and it should be gone in 3 months at the latest.
Im sure I had something else really exciting but for the life of me cant remember what it was - typical!
Anyway I hope all is well for everyone - will be back when I think of what else exciting I have to say! x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Hello all, hope everyone is well.
DD lost her 2nd tooth today - she looks funny with no bottom teeth now but was absolutely made up and looking forward to the tooth fairy visiting!
Its OH and I anniversary today so he took the night off work and we listened to the football (Liverpool v Everton) - we sure know how to do romance! We are going out for a meal on Weds after my weigh in so I can treat myself - cant wait for yummy food!
Work, horse and kids all fine. Everything kind of plodding along at the minute and I am not complaining at all! Have an assignment to do by next week that I really really must get started and no leave till last minute. BOB rotton turnips may be needed here!
Ooh other exciting news OH and I have been talking and have decided that another baby would be a possibility in a year or twos time so I am hoping to have my implant taken out next year and see what happens  although no doubt I will change my mind a hundred more times before then!
Anyone here got 3 kids. What are your age gaps and how was it going from 2 to 3? Sorry to be nosy but just interested to hear from others. Means Ill need to get cracking on that DFD though
Hugs to all x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Well the romantic old soul. Mr.b wants to go to Austrailia for our wedding anniversary..i think it also has something to do with a cricket tour or something..sheesh!
I have 3 kids, age gaps are 18 months to two years apart. It was easier having the third but she was born with a few medical problems and i was calmer than if it had been my first..if that makes sense.Plus we had loads of gear, so cheaper as well. None were planned but my body must be organised that way! I enjoyed them all at that age and really miss them being tiny.
Turnip duly lobbed..weeeethump!Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Thanks for that BOB - I know what you mean about feeling calmer. DD was born when I was 18, petrified with my family barely speaking to me and although family were fine when I was pregnant with DS, we bought a house the month before he was born and life was fairly hectic.
But then there is a huge part of me that worries with my son being autistic - how would he cope with a baby and how would we cope with him and a baby - would he even notice? x x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

Maybe you are overthinking it a bit..forgive me, but i am sure he has hidden qualities which will only emerge when the baby is born..does that make sense? I would treat him the same as with any child preparing for the baby being born etc. He will make sense of it in his own way and may not react how we would want..but them again no child does. Expectation and actuality are always different things with children. I thought my little boy would be jealous when his little sister was born, but it was my eldest daughter who felt it the most because she thought that i was in hospital too much:o and so blamed her sister for that. We won her around though by making her feel very important and the nurses were great with them both..but i never expected it as she never tantrumed in her life.
Then again she was only 4 at the time and DS was 2, so had three under 5:eek: .Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
