Thanks Taxi, KP, Mum and Luc - Happy New Year to you all too!

Have spent the day making a brand new shiny snowball! Have neglected my original one for a bit and it was too scrappy anyway as our original 13 creditors are now down to the last 8! It looks really small now the new Snowball! Anyway it has given me a DFD of Jan 2013 but I am determined to chop at least 6 months off this as I want to be debt free before the Olympics (for no reason other than it seems a nice landmark!).

I am planning on snowballing on a minimum of 700.00 a month which doesnt put the pressure on too much and it will be nice when I can pay more then that! Anyways the debt we have remaining is :-

    Me - 12700.00
    Oh - 18463.59
    Joint - 1500.00
    Total - 32663.59

It seems nicer broken down like that! First one to clear is MBNA with a guesstimated balance of 2000.00 (it is no more than that and should actually be a few hundred less because of overpayments but I havent been keeping track and cant find a statement so will have to wait for this months!) Want to have paid 500.00 off it by the end of Jan - have made 50.00 payments already so only another 450.00 to go!

Now need to make a brand new spreadsheet!

Hope everyone is having a nice start to the new year - will see you all tomorrow x x x

Liking your new debtbusting challenge.I think when we have a lot of debt it's so much easier to concentrate on one debt at a time rather than look at the big amount.
Hope you're DH is ok and not too tired after last night x
