Slaying my debts, the second year

Ahem.........OI...BUFFY HUN!!!.....(.ooops...scared myself there!...:D )
Hmmmmmm....I may have been on extended duvet time..:o .but......HUGS...:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: ....stay strong Hun...if it doesn;t feel absolutely right then at this point in time there's no point in flogging it.. ..baby steps is absolutely what it says... you are now moving into "exploration" mode...some things will work, some things won;t......still plenty of time to experiment until you feel more self confident/stable/strong/on your own two feet/independent....most importantly you need to decide wat you want out of a relationship and what will work for you.....i.e. YOU with capital letters...and not what will work for them (in small leters
).....tis the season to be selfish and all that......
Have fun...try and find reasons to enjoy this situation...after all....you are paying off your debts..the job/boss may be !!!!! but it's a means to an end (relatively quickly compared to some DFW) ...and at least you can have fun if you start going out with a few blokes socially...who knows where it may lead...try plentyoffish.com...worked for me. ..
.Most important thing is you have to be confident and comfortable in yourself......methinks you have little way to go on that....perhaps because you may feel you lack the social side of stuff to help you get there?...So hugs again...we will talk (and drink....well you will, I'm driving:D ) at Manchester meet...
Courage ma souer...always with you in spirit even if not able to in body.....
You WILL get there Hun....
Hugs
Love
Wol2

I never got to the reports, the room took on a life of its own SUCH a mess and I got so unhappy in the middle. I feel this awful pressure round my ribs and I feel so sad. so sad. even though I know its right I am bloody disappointed and tired.
Now I need to sort out for work tomorrow you know that place I hate to go.
thank you again guysxxxxNevertheless she persisted.0 -
More :grouphug: (and more wishes there was something else I could do).
I haven't signed up for the Manchester thing as I'm so pushed for time at the minute, but hope to go to another later one. Think it will be wonderful for you though and hope you have a fabulous time meeting all these lovely people in person.
Something good might happen at work. Stranger things have probably happened.

Hi Buffy,
Auntie lula just popping in to remind you that you're fabulous
.
Wol2 speaks much sense; a relationship that you are not 100% happy with will eat away at you & worse may make you miss the opportunity of a lifetime  .
Yay to rearranging furniture too - always works for me, you'd be amazed just how many possible combinations there are in one room
lots of hugs hon & 'courage mon brave' as they say in the foreign legion

So sorry i've not been around this week. Totally missed this Buffy.
Not that i could have said much but i hope you're doing alright. :grouphug:
It sounds like the right thing, but seems to have been so hard on you. Take it easy for a few days if you can and hopefully you'll be coming back stronger than ever.
thoughts are with you.

and Lula you ever want anyone to runaway and join up, I may well be your girl! xxxx
Right not the best couple of days.
1. came home to find my betta fish dead> heater over heated, water was 90' when I came in!!! poor beautiful fish.
2. My hamster was really ill and I had to have her pts this morning. very depressing.
Obviously neither of these things are the worst in the world or vaguely even close but they haven't exactly raised my spirits. Work was ok.
I decided to have a day off. yes its lazy and selfish but I need a moment to collect myself or something! plus which I can finally get on with some of the marking for my other groups
24 folders by four o clock.
so on that note I will be off

Hi Buffy, thanks for PM...sorry for rambly reply. World is a bit confusing at the moment for lots of reasons?
You seem to be making some new beginnings. To do that you need some things to reach, or be brought to, their conclusion ( I dont mean hamsters or fish ).
Do you give yourself some 'me', sorry, 'you' ermm...'me' time at work? Take 10 minutes out with a book its such a good way of shutting other people and thoughts out especially if you pick a subject that is entirely NOT connected with personal situations.........so NO love stories.
Deal with the debt in the way that makes you feel that you are winning ( btw, mine is £59K, down from £64K 15 months ago! ) and not being consumed by it.
Look for the good....'better to light a small candle than rage at the dark'.
