Slaying my debts, the second year

  • I have been thinking.

    always dangerous!

but I really resent my job.In fact mostly I hate it, I hate getting up in the morning I hate how I feel so stressed the sec I get through the gates.

I can't or rather haven't been able to make the link between my wages and my debts:o .

What I mean is my job does pay my debts and without it I wouldn't get very far!

I need to start thinking that EVERYTHING I do pays off the debt. every bit of marking every time I prepare my lunch plan a lesson all of it pays off debt.

I was thinking I'd rather being e baying/surveying/etc but truthfully I need to do my main job first! and it IS paying off the debts!

so on that note I shall mark!

    see you all later

    xxx

  • I must remember that Beanielou.

So tired. tutoring was good tho.

Work has been truly !!!!. My boss is getting to be impossible to work with.never makes mistakes, and is ALWAYS right. and so !!!!ing arrogant. I am trying hard to come to terms with the idea that the place I loved to work in a few year ago no longer exists.

Instead it is a back stabbing distrustful hard cold place with no safety or softness or indeed friends!! Thank God the kids are good. Had to deal with some akward stuff today. hmmm.

If I hadnt had my light bulb moment I would have been looking for another job but it is more important at this point in my life to be out of debt so I will stick it out.

Just expect me to MOAN about even more then usual ;)

I just came to the conclusion that its just a job, I have many friends and my life is very lucky in many ways. So if I have to work with arrogant know it alls who try to patronise me so be it.

    THink of the money!

    so tired.

"I had said ever since I started here, the very first budget/paying off plan that I would be debt free by dec 09. And I will be. every spare penny will go on the debt. it will go.

    Buffy"

Happy new year Buffy. I have quoted this bit, so that you remember what your determination said you were going to do.

Ref your boss. Start keeping a diary. Not meaning to be too paranoid on your behalf, but could he be picking on you so that you can be eased out? So keep a diary of all these run ins you never know when it might come in handy. And if it becomes too much, then what have you got you lose by complaining? You hate it anyway, so it can't get worse......

good luck with this year. And any time you start flagging just go to post 267 and read the bit in red!!!!

I've just been catching up on people's various posts saying they've been working at paying off their debts. I just want to say keep it up and goo luck! I took out a bunch of loans etc years ago to buy everyday stuff (clothes, shoes, etc) then couldn't afford more loans. So, I eventually paid off the debt that I had and realised that I had so much more spending money to enjoy when I didn't have debt to pay. Remember - a bank loan doesn't make you rich, it just means you're spending the money you were going to have in the future, plus you pay the bank for the privilege so you end up with less to spend. I only borrow to buy things that will last me a long time (kitchen, car) and it has changed my life.
