    I've been Money Tipped!
My day is getting better and better, I have just heard that my friends ds and his wife have given birth to a lovely little girl 7lb 12oz :j and born on my birthday! I will have no excuse now for forgetting that little one! Can't wait to see some photos of her! That is now 2 little baby grand daughters for friends of ours born this week.
Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind.

Welcome back into the fold Mellikaaction-smiley-033.gif

Just back from vet with itchy dog - £50 and 2 lots of tabs + instructions to come back in 10 days. She thinks it's allergy rather than anything else and says it will prob get worse as she gets older and might then be in autumn as well as summer. Was told sternly that when it flares up as in dog just starts to nibble at self then take her straight away so she doesn't get an infection as well. TBH I was a bit p-ed off as I've always had dogs and DO take them to the vet regularly. Ho hum. Off to have a look back through to remind myself which of you lovely peeps has a grass allergy dog and will send PM for

In fact I will multi-task and have a cup of tea as well tongue.gif

    Hi All,

Not been around much since I moved, been busy settling in and getting sorted.

Happy birthday to all those I missed. :bdaycake:
Hugs to those in need, are poorly or have poorly relatives.
Congratulations to those with DS/DD GCSE results.
Welcome to all the newbies, and thinking of those MIA.

Am feeling a bit down at the mo, have had an ear infection for 3 weeks and finally gave up and went to the Drs today and got told off  - must not put cotton buds in my ears!! Still hopefully the pain killers and drops will start to work soon!!

Have been baking today - rolls, peanut cookies and mars bar cakes ready to take to hairdressers tomorrow - it's my turn to provide lunch!

Right best go and sort out dinner, not in the Remoska today, although I have used it most days since I got it.

    Take care all.

Well done to Miss Squiggly & Master Tappy, great that you have both managed to get in college for your chosen courses.
Miss Twit had only taken PE this time and she passed, with an A  :T :j   :A
As you can tell, we are delighted. I think she is just about forgiven for worrying us senseless the other weekend. She phoned Mr Twit who is working away and after congratulating her, he said that she has now set the standard for the rest of her GCSEs next year

Our new shopping centre has opened today including a Debenhams, it looks really good and soooo much better in the town centre. Principles in debenhams were handing out 20% discount vouchers valid for 1 month, and there is a Benito Browbar in Debenhams, so I plonked myself down and had y eyebrows threaded. I am impressed and it cost £10.

Hester, your outlaws sound delightful, pastel colours only....what a load of tosh. Have you nothing in your clothing collection in pastel ;) I suppose you could go starkers...skin is pastel.

Mr Twit is due home tonight, suppose I'd better look busy and squirt the Mr Sheen around again.

OH brought back pizzas and some tikka meals back from work. It may not be OS, but trust me it is moneysaving on a grand scale and seriously helps my budget. He's supplied me with 7 meals for a grand total of around 3 quid. So instead of pork tonight...we're having pizza. Also got a couple of the tikka things in the fridge for tomorrow (rest in freezer...just). Just need to cook some rice and we'll be away.
