    Hello All

Haven't been on MSE for a while as I've been so busy with work. Spent last weekend working at the local air show - four days in the sun:D

Off work for five days now as I'm owed time in lieu. Also been given a voucher for a massage as a thank you for doing extra work lately.

Hoping to pop into the village in a bit as Mum's found a new shop she wants to show me. She's also expressed an interest in making some stuff to sell too. So will be trawling the web for info over the next few days.

Got to write a profile for a new voluntary position I've been accepted too and got a meeting next week about becoming a fundraiser for a local charity.

Amazed at how many people on here are on facebook!!!

    Hope everyone's ok

  • My baby passed her GCSE's!!!!!!!! Woo-hoo!!!!!!!!!!! That means she starts college to do Media Production (or something like that) in a couple of weeks :) I am sooo pleased for her.

Hope everyone else getting results hears news soon....

Beth, hope you get an update from DB soon & VickyA, glad to hear you are looking after your leg too. Cup of tea & a sit down sounds very sensible.... lol!!
Pink1970, what a pain in the backside to have to try & sort out & even more frustrating when you just can't get a straight answer out of anyone....
Candygirl, glad you had a nice afternoon with your Dad. He must feel like a human pincushion, bless him.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Congratulations to Miss Squiggly and Master Tap:T

Glad to hear you've seen the dr VickyA and you know what to do to mend your leg.

Ds has phoned, he is safely back from Singapore but his luggage isn't!! don't know where that has ended up - ds says my pressie is in it! and all his summer clothes and he needs to get them washed and packed for his trip to Spain tomorrow! I think he might be doing a bit of last minute shopping! Never mind after yesterdays news I am just relieved he is ok. So awful for all those people and their families.

Squiggly I haven't seen Mama Mia either! and I am a big Abba fan! I am going to wait until the cinema is emptier.

I am having a lovely day, friends have visited for tea and cookies and I have been spoiled with lots of pampering stuff and some really fab outline stickers for card and scrapbooking. DD's card turned up today and when I read what she had written I had a little cry! It was really lovely!
