Hi all!

Hopefully everyone is okay - I've not had time to do more than skim the thread...

I've had one member of my team say they will quit if I don't get the supervisor's role :eek: So there is no pressure then :rotfl:

I don't know what to do - I do realise that the person "acting" in the role is de-motivating the entire team but can I say that..? Given that it *could* look like I've engineered it...? I have an interview for the role (it's a two horse race) me and the girl who already does the job. How on Earth can I pull it off?

Edited to say - under nornal circumstances I also really like the girl who has been given the role (without pay or recognition) but she isn't any good at it...

Yes the benefits system is a pain in the a!!e, I'm sure it will be sorted so enough but in the meantime things are very tight. Our shopping this week had to be under £25, luckily with Mr T's value items and reduced price and various offers we did it for £22.17....

Havent done a great deal today seem to be lacking in motivation.

Redruby, threading is like plucking, but it's done with thread that is twisted and it pulls out a few hairs at a time.
I think it's done in the middle east.
Whilst there was redness, my eyes look normal now :rotfl: I feel it's kinder to the skin than waxing.

Hester....wear your intended outfit...things are coming to a pretty pass when people try to dictate what you wear to a christening...what are they on with 3 children and 3 different 'faiths'...that's going to be fun in later life, least of all for the children!

I'm sorry not to mention everyone by name, I'm completely shattered tonight. After Tuesday's fiascos I was out most of yesterday collecting a keyboard (music) for DH from Surrey and today I went to the coast for the day, courtesy of a friend who knows how hard things are money-wise at the moment, so she treated me. I still have some pennies left so I'm going to go into London next week and visit a museum or two.

I think I need my bed. Night all! ((((hugs))))
