Morning all. Hope everyone is ok.

Applied for another job yesterday, am getting very scared that I might get asked for an interview at some point. Oh I suppose that's the point isn't it?! Bits and bobs of jobs to do today including two baskets of ironing, oops, where did that come from? Maybe some eBaying too.

Thank you for the birthday wishes! I can't believe I am so old! :rotfl: Mr C has bought me an old fashioned birdhouse, painted and on a stand for the garden, I love it and am now planning the garden around it. We are going out for dinner tonight so no cooking today yay!:j

Just waiting to hear that ds is safely back from singapore, after yesterdays sad news in Madrid I won't settle until I hear from him.

Hopefully a quiet day her - noone is in yet - which is a bit odd, but I'm sure they will show up

I couldn't sleep last night so had a baking spree too - I'm not looking at the electricty meter :eek: I made a huge batch of cupcakes (48 I think) which then got iced in a truly childish fashion with all the cheap sprinkles from tesco two pecan pies ( on account of my maths skills being too warped to scale down the recipe that late at night) an almond tart and some fork biscuits. I'm kinda glad I ran out of butter - I don't know where it would have stopped . Most of it tastes okay, but the pecan pies taste alittle bit custardy - as I forgot to add the syrup to the mixture - I poured it over when it was cooking, but it doesn't taste the same. No cooking tonight as OH is going to a leaving party and I will eat crackers and chocolate in from of my computer. I have a first draft of two chapters - hoping it will be three by the end of the day, which is a nice feeling.

OH is off to the solictors today as well; and he even got his will sorted out last night (not that I've been nagging him for ages, but it needed to be sorted) so can take that along too to be witnessed. I'm trying to stay positive about it, but we shall see what he says.

DH is poorly - gone to work:rolleyes: but is going to hopefully go to docs later - am sure he has a chest infection - been trying to get him there for days!:rolleyes:

DS is off to Devon with a friend for a week after he gets his results so it will be quiet here!

well I have wiped down the sides in the kitchen

taken all the crumbs out of the toaster

cleaned the cooker hob

emptied the dishwasher and

then refilled it

folded all the washing I did yesterday

fed the cat

taken a note of who likes to play scrabulous

am now going to invite them to play

only 3 people have said they like scrabulous on FB

so I will get off now and do some more work and invite friends to play

I have a mountain of paperwork to do for OH and need to get stuck in. The weather forecast was for sun today so I stripped the beds yesterday but it's piddling it down this morning. :rolleyes:

DW is emptied, BM on and kitchen cleaned. Need to make the beds and hoover and then sort out the paperwork.

Tea is seafood pizza and then I think an early night is in order.

OH is taking DS away for a few days to Weston-Super-Mare to see family, so I need to hang out washing in a mo and pack DS's bag. Looking forward to some time on my own, although I will be working some of it.

Have been awake since 6 but am only just getting going. Well I'm out of bed, thats about it :DI think its the weather, I just don't feel like doing anything. I will actually have to get ready as I need to get some potatoes today.

Snowy - you made me laugh about the tap dancing, great minds think alike I said to OH after failing 2 interviews last week that I was going to do a circus skills course as obviously the office skills I have are not enough :rotfl:

Fingers crossed for all those waiting on exam results.

Need to do some ironing today, going to try to sort out some clothes to take next week, OH has asked for cheese/onion/potato pie tonight, hence needing to go and get some potatoes also need to get small gammon joint to cook so we can have nice sarnies on the journey so think I need to walk down to Aldi.

Well no good just talking about it on here, I guess I need to make a move and put it into action :rotfl:
