I've been doing Virgin Vie for some time now. I did a few home parties but didn't really get on very well with them so now I just do one to ones. Seem to get a similar amount of money spent on products. I also have a small team of Angels who collect orders for me. They have no outlay at all and have a percentage off their own products that they buy through me or simply have the cash. That might be something that you could consider. Hope it helps.0

Hiya - you're not allowed to post links for personal gain, and it sounds as though that's what you are doing here."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

They were ethical. Then they sold to L'Oreal (Nestle).Make a list of important things to do today. At the top, put 'eat chocolate'. Now, you'll get at least one thing done today.

Sorry to sound horrible but i read what you said and i dissagree. You say that the £500 AS kit is free but if it's free then the person who is going to be a rep shouldn't hav to pay for rental. If they have to pay for rental for so many weeks or untill they reach the £1200 target then in effect they are paying a controbution to borrow(cos remeber you said kit belongs to AS) the kit so therefore it isn't free is it.Also if the kit belongs to AS when the rep has erned enough money for AN or they have paid enough rent does the kit then belong to the rep or does the rep have to send the kit back to AS if they deside to retire from AS?Be greatfull of a responce. Many thanks.Emma0

Hi everyone i was thinking about going back to doing ann summers partys to get some extra money as my good friend was making money doing them, well thats what i thought, when i asked her for the contact details etc she said it wasnt ann summers she was doing but pennybell. she gave me the email address and i emailed them asking to do a party and 6 months on its going fantastic. They sell the same things as ann summers but are alot cheaper so you tend to sell more.
You get a kit worth approx £500 this can be rented weekly or paid out right for its your choice.
You also get 100 discount cards that you give out to the people at your partys or anyone that buys those sort of products the good thing with the discount cards is the discount code is linked to you so when people use them online to buy products from pennybell you get 5% of the sale for doing nothing, how good is that,i recently got a cheque for £85 from online sales.
pennybell only advertise for party organisers a few times a year, but if you email them and ask to become a organiser they probably will accept you try it there email is info@pennybell.com and website is www.pennybell.com
thought i would share this will you good luck0 -
I have been doing Ann Summers Parties now for 8 years and love it, it's a great way to earn extra cash and fits in with family life perfectly as you are home all day with the children you then go to work once the children are in bed so leaving very little for your partner/babysitter to do.
after just a couple of hours of FUN you have earnt.
with response to the threads on aggressive and pushy Unit Organisers we are NOT all like that girls.

I'll keep you posted if I decide to take the plunge!!!
I went to a party and have been looking into it myself. You get a £500 starter kit which you pay a low weekly rental on until you sell £1200 worth of stock then you no longer pay rental. People order from you and pay on the night but you can also take a deposit if they don't have the cash but you can also pay by card too by filling out the card details on the order form. You go round a week later with the orders to the party holders houseas you need to order the stuff in, the kit you receive are for demos for your parties and collect outstanding payments etc then, You earn 23% of party orders and 30% on orders from yourself or friends and family which just place random orders with you and not part of a pary, hope this helps x0 -
I have at some point done most party plan companies however the one that I find the best is Ann Summers (I still do it and have done for just over 4 years)i used to do ann summers partys, i did enjoy doing them but what i did not like is the running around trying to get the money off the customers.
What chasing of the money. Ann Summers parties are pay on the night. Payment can be made via cards, cash or cheque at the discretion of the organiser (cheques are not recommended)Hi Debtfreedreamer
With Virgin and Ann S I believe you have to pay for your stock, which wouldnt be a good idea if you are only thinking of doing it over and for the Christmas period. I think both companies give you a little starter kit but to host a party with a variety of stock you will have to purchase more items....
Mind you it would be enjoyable, but thought that the outlay should be considered especially if you are trying to make/save money and not spend..
You do not have to pay for stock. You get a £500 kit to start doing the parties and you pay a small rental fee until you have banked a certain amount of money. If I remember correctly I cleared in by doing one party.iwanttosave wrote: »ann summers is not pay on the night it is pay on delivery, and the money is no good we had one recently and the girl was telling us that out of our orders (excess of £250) she will only earn about £25 and out of that she has to pay her travel expences ect. also you do haveto buy your own sample stock, and any prizes for games (i gave up avon cos i thought it was wrong that i had to pay them money for their catalouges. as for the betterware, avon ect you have to build up a really good round to get a half decent reward for your efforts, and i have found that other agents are very territorial, i had one verbally abuse me in the street because i put a book in one of her cutomers doors.
If you find something that works let us know, my christmas fund could be better and i have only 1 present.
I think there has been a bit of mistunderstanding you do not need to have a certain amount of sales before you get paid as you get a percentage of the sales. A £250 party would actually give you £75, so a big difference. On the night of the party you also do a raffle which can often make £20 - £30. There is other incentive that you can run which is beneficial to both guests and organiser.
There seems to be a lot of misguided information on this thread. As I stated previously I am an Ann Summers party organiser and at an average party that I do I make £150 not really bad for 2 - 3 hours work. (£600 a month for 8 - 12 hours)Aiming to get Debt Free.0
