Thanks everyone for the info! I've got a lot to consider now - not sure if I'm keen on buying stock and chasing people for money I thought it was pay on the night too.
I'll keep you posted if I decide to take the plunge!!!0 -

If you find something that works let us know, my christmas fund could be better and i have only 1 present.
ME THINKS YOU NEED TO DO YOUR RESEARCH,
also she gets around 30% commision

my friend does body shop and you pay up front, she then orders it from bodyshop, so no money to chase. she earns well from it especially at the mo with christmas coming. i think she earns 25% and if she does over £1000 in a week she gets an extra 5% she has done this twice in the last couple of months! thats £300 in one week for part time work!0

i think these parties can be a good idea but my friend used to do Ann Summers and she had fun but she got loads of hassle coz she struggled to get many parties (depends where you live i suppose) i also remember she did have problems collecting money from people, it might be better to get an evening job in a pub or supermarket for a few nights a week that way you dont have to buy anything up front and it will still be cash in your bank at the end of the day. or if you have a clear out and sell stuff at car boots and on e-bay
good luck whatever you decide0
