Has anyone here applied or been successful at the Band D post? - Executive Management - Higher Executive Officer / Band D
I'm thinking of appliing for AO,EO, AND HEO! lol
I need a jobbbb!0 -
Passed the literacy & numeracy today
Interview not for 3 weeks though
Somebody did ask about the HEO positions. Apparently there are different tests for those positions. I think she said 'situational' and psychometric - definitely the latter.0 -
Hi Everyone,
I need some help please-with literacy test.I applied for EO, as it was the only one available at the time-and passed numeracy with the score 19! But literacy seems to be a problem-I got 9 and 10 scores. I need 11 to pass. I learned now, that you can skip commas after Dea.., and your sincerely, but I am still missing about 2 mistakes... I know they had only 2 versions of the test floating-so more likely I get one of the 2 tests again:)
One of the tests I had was about women claiming 'Disabled persons benefit' and also enquiring about maternity payment.
The second test was about changes in... I believe either HR or Financial system...They introduced some changes in holiday payments, etc...don't remmeber more...
I picked up obvious misspelling like:
Personnel, questionnaire, ... cant remeber many examples now.
I applied again in other area-and was invited for literacy test again!!! I got other job offer now-but just cant give up, and try to pass at least literacy test...
Anybody remmember any particular examples? Especially with commas, hyphens, or apostrophy...
Please help!!!
An wish me luck on Wednesday
I was in a similar position to you...I went to a selection exercise last week and caned the numeracy but flunked the literacy test. I re took the same test more recently and just passed with 11 marks. I think my mistake was not spotting inappropriate capitals in titles?
Anyroad I had my Interview and they people interviewing me listened to what I had to say about my competencies, did not ask for further details and did not ask for back up evidence so fingers crossed. I am pretty positive anywayThe World come on.....0 -

Also it's apostrophe. If in doubt about its use, it's only it's if it means it is. If it's its as in belonging to it, there's no apostrophe. Maybe this page will help.
Sorry to be picky, which I wouldn't normally be, but you did ask.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Interview this morning....fingers crossed!
Better go and get ready....
Any Benefit Delivery Officers out there, can you give me a bit more insight into a typical daily routine?October Comp Wins -Stella Artois Challice (FB)0
