I am no expert in property but have lived in many types of homes, in many locations and can only talk from experience.

I agree the half fat cheddar is very good, must half fat cheese is so mild that its tastless but the Aldi one is really tasty

I like the Lidl 4 Luxury Caramel Shortcakes at 59p but I've eaten so many I'll have to diet.
Not keen on the Penguin biscuits.

I also like the no loud rap music or special promotion offers every five minutes blaring out of the PA and no "have you got a loyalty card" for the millionth time at the checkout.
Making you use your own bags.

Lidl are ace. (don't have a Netto or Aldi).

I really don't like the major supermarkets at all.

Buy the tiramisu's (individuals) - they are great
    Also get their Museli.
Their fresh and frozen Pizzas are also great as if their Chicken kievs.

Don't get their veg - if you are planning on keeping it a few days - only really good for instant use

I bought some chestnut mushrooms a couple of days before christmas, still good nearly 3 weeks later! (it was around 19-20 days when i finished the mushrooms up).
