You didn't mention brandy but I can definitely recommend their cognac brandy - about £9 a bottle (I now buy this instead of Courvoisier). There is a cheaper one at about £7 per bottle but it's a bit watery. For any of the other spirits I would just say that if there is a bottle a couple of quid more expensive then you are probably on a safe bet.
Their lemonade and coke is good quality.
Can also recommend - luxury muesli (blue box) any of their chocolate bars, gold tea bags, gammon, tuna and sweetcorn sandwich filling, selection of 6 cakes (frozen), pork chops, bacon, premium range sausages (which are around 85% meat), bottles of water, diswasher tablets and finally.... the aloe vera loo roll.;)0 -
aldi brie at 89p really lovely. Before you point fingers, make sure your hands are clean !;)0

Just of piece of useless info. Lidl are generally cheaper in the U.K. and Spain than France or Germany.
Go look at the prices on their websites.
Czech Republic and Hungary LIdls are very cheap, most selling fresh bread rolls as well.0 -
ALDI
Norpack (I had to laugh) spreadable butter is very nice (and a lot cheaper than lurpack spreadable).
They have chilled potato products in a long life vaccuum sealed bag. The one worth buying is the potatoes au gratin - I used to buy the tesco extra special gratin at 2 pounds odd as a treat, this one is only about 79 or 69p and much nicer (with a bit of cheese sprinkled over the top before baking).
Toasting waffles are nice and less than half the price of the rip off ones in other supermarkets (think they are 45p for 12)
The frozen desserts for £2.49 are nice, I think I've tried them all now bar the cheesecakes. The rhubarb and strawberry custard tart is lovely, and they are huge!
Also tried the frozen orange and lemon sorbets (4 for £2.99) seems expensive, but they look (and taste) fantastic as they are served up in a whole orange or lemon skin.

She appears regularly as one of the experts on BBC's Bargain Hunt and Flog It!
OK, Kate's hardly an A-lister, but I like her, and she clearly knows a bargain when she sees one!
Really?
I prefer Aldi, it's closer to me and has some great deals, but might be tempted to cross town for a change of scenery (and I can nip into Morrisons while I'm over there!)0 -
Aldi: Buy- Frozen salmon fillets 1.99 for 2 they are nice
Fresh hot smoked salmon
Tea bags in gold box...Same as Tetleys
